Has anyone tried adding a few drops of tea tree oil to a bath and soaking for half an hour to an hour?

I used to do this daily, and I found many of my symptoms went away.

Also, if you want to try this, you may want to try a water soluble tea tree oil solution such as this:

I saw it at Whole Foods Market if you're interested. Since it's water soluble, it will blend better with the water instead of just floating on the surface like regular tea tree oil.

only a few drops in a whole bathtub? HUH! good to know (the stuff ain't cheap). I put it on any breakouts, usually alternating with neem and hydrogen peroxide and/or coconut oil. wish I had the time or inclination to experiment on which work best, but I'm instant gratification and don't have the luxury.

I probably put about 20 drops of the pure tea tree oil in the whole tub.

If you are using the water soluble kind I linked to, it is 15% tea tree oil. So, you should probably put 6.66 times as much in.

That's about 133 drops of that stuff. I haven't tried that kind yet, but I suspect it may be more effective since it will disperse thru the water better.
