Unusual Way to Treat Morgs Anxiety and Depression

Many people with Morgs have chronic nasal and sinus congestion, presumably due to an ongoing infection in the sinus/nasal cavities (the medical term for such infection is sinusitis, or rhinosinusitis)

It is my theory that this infection is greatly affecting the brain (which is located just behind the sinus cavities), and may be responsible for many of the Morgellon's mood symptoms.

I have found that just by treating my sinus congestion, this SIGNIFICANTLY reduces my anxiety levels, and my "brain fog".

What I use for treating my sinusitis is:

(1) Guaifenesin oral tablets, 400 mg, two to three times a day. Guaifenesin is an effective decongestant for the sinuses.

(2) Intranasal selenium. Take a selenium capsule (say 200 mcg dose), open it up to get out the powder, and, using a short length of drinking straw, snort about a quarter of this selenium powder up into your nasal cavities. I used the sodium selenite form of selenium ("Twinlabs" brand), which I found is very non-irritating to the nose. Repeat every 5 hours. This rapidly brings your sinus infection under control. Selenium is a powerful antiviral, antibacterial, etc.

I found with just these two simple things, your anxiety and brain fog is greatly reduced, and you energy levels go up a lot as well. Highly recommended.

Note that the absolute maximum daily dose of selenium is 800 mcg, and many say that 400 mcg is the maximum.

That makes alot of sense to me.i will give it a try as soon as i can get some of that med. my 7 yr old son is getting sinus infections now also.i had to keep him home from school yesterday due to this!have you ever noticed alot of people we come into contact with also begin to sneeze? its drawn to the moisture.my sinus problems started over 18yrs or so ago but haven't been a big issue lately with me i believe it just replaced itself with whatever normal tissues that were there.clever little devils aren't they!

I found that when I took selenium I got horrible back aches. It was so bad that I couldn't stand up and cried, cussed like a sailor, and wanted to die! Menthol, (icy-hot or blue emu lotion) relieved the symptoms.

You can try Allicin powder instead of selenium. Like selenium, Allicin also has powerful antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties.

In fact, Allicin may even be better than selenium.

Allicin usually comes in 180 mg capsules, and you want to take not more than about a quarter of such a capsule (in one instance) when you use it intranasally. I used allicin powder before I tried selenium, and so I know is also quite good.

When you sniff some grains of Allicin into your nasal passages, it stops all sinus congestion with an hour or so, and I find this massively help my anxiety symptoms.

In the US and Cannada, the Allicin product is called AlliMax:

Allicin is so powerful, it can cure MSRA bacterial infections!


Caution: do not substitute Allicin for regular garlic powder, because regular garlic will sting in your nose!

(In fact, I have found that, in general, any health supplement powder that tastes slightly acid, slightly bitter or has any noticeable strong taste, will sting like HELL in your nose. So you cannot use just any antiviral/antibacterial supplement to treat the sinus and nasal infection. Very few supplements are gentle enough for use in the nose. But Allicin is fine.)

Allicin has almost no smell, so this is a great advantage.
