Hey everyone, I understand that some people ONLY have lesions on their scalps? Or at least the scalp is included in lesion areas. Could anyone who has successfully treated the scalp please post your remedy/therapy/protocol? Thanks, Kritts

I just realized this 'scalp treatment' suggestion was already made in this thread: Scalp Treatments--Member Suggestions So I'm going to go there and post. Kritters

Hey Kritts... It's not the only ones with lesions on their scalps. I have no lesions on my body, yet my hair is falling out rapidly - another clue that it is affecting the scalp, but maybe without the sores. This fungus, I believe, eats keratin, which can cause the hair loss.

| Hi Kritts and GiGI, Gigi you are absolutely right. i know when i finally realized it was all in my scalp alot of my morgie friends couldn't relate to what i was talking about.and now a couple years later they are starting to see scalp involvement.if you think about it it does make sense to why some of us are worse than others with thick hair there is an extra layer in our scalp like myself.and i did lose my vision for 5 days my eye's where totally full. that extra layer is called the medulla .since thin and fine hair lack that exra layer it can't build as much.thats what i truly believe! | Interesting, Robin! and I have baby fine hair... the only way I can tell there is involvement right now is the hair falling out. My scalp was once covered in severe yeast/dandruff, and I was able to get rid of this, and rarely have any crawling or itching or biting or stinging there anymore.. it's just that I'm pulling globs of hair out of the drain and out of my brush!! ![]() So.. I know it's still there... |

HEY ROBINSKI and GIGI!!! Makes sense to me! I have fine hair but a ton of it and used to have horrific dandruff (when this started) which is fungus and got rid of it with Selsun Blue shampoo. I need these remedies for the two nurse practitioners I know who both have lesions on their scalps and nothing they do works. Plus, of course it's good to have the treatments available at the touch of a button! Thanks for input!! xoxoKritts
