| Howdy all, Last night I dragged myself to bed and the biting and stinging started again on my upper arm as I told you last week or so that it had returned in the same spot as last year. Right near my shoulder. So, I gooootttt up....(time to make the donuts (old commercial for dunkin donuts LOL)) and went to the bathroom and got out my hydrogen peroxide, took the cotton balls (which probably has this in them also, but what the hey) and repeatedly rubbed the H2o2 onto the area. As previously experienced, the infected spots housing the fungi or whatever the exact composition of these critters turned white with a hole in center (air hole LOL) and you could visibly see the travel pattern from two larger spots to smaller in a row. So I kept on with the h2o2 then put on some tea tree oil and went back to bed. Nope. didn't do the trick. got up and applied more h2o2 and then castor oil (which might have suffocated them also) and went to bed. It worked. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I'm sure this will help some of you. Try it and good luck! ![]() Kritts |

| I also want to mention here that I had been out on the deck (as usual) and there are TONS of gnats (probably fungal gnats) and I think there is a connection here. Whatever is in my arm (fungus!) is attracting the gnats to bite that area. Remember that the parasite usually goes to the area of the host where they can easily be taken from and transported to a new host (vector) to continue its lifespan, and that us usually at night (which is why people feel the biting and stinging mostly at night). So, my guess is that this fungi is living symbiotically in that spot (and probably my body, but that spot is the entry/exit depot area they are programmed to remember (?)) (hey, they probably practice feng shui ) ....Anyway...just another musing by Kritters ;-) Kritters |

| Hey Kritts, good to see ya here! Of course the fungus gnat is involved and there is definitely a connection to fungus..(thats their name..lol). Have you seen the thread over at LB? People are reporting about hundreds of dead fungus gnats in their homes. They are coming out of the drains..some are found dead in the fridge or shower and some even said seeing them fly off their head.. Last year I had tiny little flies/gnats in my hair biting me...that's where this 'mess' all started..You are probably right about the fungus we have harboring inside us or on our skin. It attracts them to lay their eggs in/on us. I have also made that experience..fungus gnats flying all around me..trying to land on my food or in my drink..Watch out folks!! I covered my drinks with an aluminium foil lid just in case and inspected every bite!..lol If you have followed our theory and also what Jo has reported, there will be huge problems with these gnats according this disease in the future!...sadly... and btw..thanks for the tips..I'm sure many here appreciate that! | Yeah Kat, I've followed everything everyone has provided, including my own posts with the mix. The fungal gnats I know are ATTRACTED to fungus, which is why I believe they are buzzing around US, THE TOILETS, THE SHOWERS, etc!....We have the fungus, the gnat is attracted to it and the fungus wants the fly to be attracted so that it can be the next vector to transport it along to the next host. | Thanks for the tip- Kritters! Will try the castor oil- with the H2O2. A few weeks ago I tried the Desitin- BO's tip- and I like that a lot. The 40% stuff. Usually I put Clove oil in some Carrot oil- and apply. I like that a lot but it's good to try other techniques as well. xoxoxo -V-

| Yeah, I know what you mean about them taking up residence-and hiding Kritters. I don't look too hard anymore- just apply stuff and pop pills (herbals mostly). I have the video that Andy Coyle made- with the worm thingy - permanently emblazoned on my brain. -V-
