Default Need advice how to treat nest on head (large bump)

Sorry to ask so many questions, but I want to be sure to handle this thing the most effective way.

I suddenly have a large, hard bump growing out of the left side of my head. I certainly don't remember ever having it before. I think it is an egg nest, but it seems to be deep under the skin.

What is the best way to eliminate it? I want to try a paste of DE, but I have to go outside in a short while. Please let me know anything I should do. I want to kill them before they hatch and infest more of me.

Thank you.
