Hi all.... I'm still having laundry issues. I started soaking clothes in an enzyme before washing.. but I am still seeing fuzzballs in the wash... are these things dead? How can I tell?

They bite.. That's how I know. There are some clothes you just have to get rid of, if you can't get the sensation out. I use Dr. Bonner's peppermint hemp soap, a dash, about a tablespoon of Nature's Miracle / Tablespoon Biokleen all Temp Laundry detergent. I clean the dryer vent with a vacuum, and the felt fan belt inside, put excess lint in a ziploc. Put a sprinkle of DE in the dryer prior to putting the clothes in. I know it sounds nutty, bit it's working so far. I also spray the vent with enzymes prior to each load. This really sucks.. just want my life back ,.. but I hope it helps you or somebody else. God Bless

I was just doing regular detergent plus borax and salt and letting it soak a little.. but I was still getting bitten. I started soaking clothes in a bathtub with some safesolutions peppermint enzyme for a few hours now before washing... but I am still seeing fuzzballs .. I pulled some off with my bare hands and didn't feel anything... they are just stuck on tight on some parts of the clothing... I haven't tested yet by putting it on .. I am afraid !! I can't believe the day I would be afraid of lint and fuzzballs...

Welcome to the Club.. that day is here, sadly. I realized over this past year of bizarre occurences that Absolutley NO ONE will give creedence to ....that we have to stop being afraid of everyone and everything. Do the best you can, take care of your health and hope to God somebody recognizes this Twilight Zone disease and comes up with a cure. Until then, we are on our own!
