Also the mouthwash from marc neumann does a very good number on the hair.Use it as the final rinse dilute it and leave it on without rinsing off but do not get in eyes and you only need about 3/4 drops of it.

Thanks for adding more to this thread Pat. You always have great suggestions. Hopefully, over time other members will add suggestions they find help too. I had hoped by now we would have more information about what this is, but meanwhile we can trudge on together and offer what we can to relieve pain and suffering. It does ease the journey.

Thanks TCM i do try to post on things that I see work.
You were very optimistic if you thought we would have an answer that quickly....I reckon the second coming should be about the time we get it.Up till then we will have to make do with all the theories abounding........myself I am only interested in what afflicts it and gives relief.

Default Additional Suggestions for Scalp

Some additions from another thread today:

My scalp still itches on occasion, but thank goodness I seem to have this a bit under control (won't say totally because I keep getting reinfected by the environment)... I actually had been working on my scalp even before I found out about M. I know I have demodex and had terrible dandruff/yeast problems on the scalp. What has been working for me:

-Jason's tea tree oil shampoo + conditioner
-Jason's lavendar shampoo + conditioner
-Face Dr. SeaBuckthorne Oil shampoo + conditioner
-Using Apple Cider vinegar as a rinse (I don't do this often but it works great against fungus)
-Selsun blue shampoo, often mixed together with salt.
-Olive oil, mixed together with some tea tree oil and DE - I put this on overnight and sleep in it. I think you could experiment with this with other types of essential oils and leave it in overnight. Works great!!! I get a lot of relief from this. You could also try DE in a paste alone, but I find it dries the scalp and hair out, and I don't know if the flakes are from purging or from dry scalp, so I find mixed with Olive Oil is better.
-New Hope Soaps and balm - sometimes leave the soap and or/balm in the scalp overnight. It's hard to wash the balm out of the hair, so I like just leaving the soap in to dry better.

Honestly, I am still working on everything, but my biggest problems are eyes, sinuses, and ears, and ENVIRONMENT. I knew my skin was improving when they started heavily going for the sinuses and eyes.
Let me know how the "Blink" works.

Great information, Robin, support for the body inside is always great information, especially if herpes is an issue. I would like to add that if anyone runs cold (always feel cold, tongue has a white coating) that you may want to add in some ginger or another warming herb so your body does not get too cold as all the herbs mentioned in this article are cold and may make the body colder in addition to over cooling the stomach and spleen.

Thanks tcm...

I also wanted to add something about the ACV used as a rinse - It can sting depending on what you have going on up there.. so you may want to dry to dilute it in some water first...

Thanks to all for the new info on this thread. Gigi, glad you added your latest additions about the effects you noticed with using the ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar).

As Carla says scalp symptoms seem to be one of the worst problems for all, especially for newbies, so my hope is that anyone who has new information to help these problems will add it here where it will easily be found in one place. One of the best things about the forum is sharing those inexpensive tips which are helpful to all.

I hope all on the forum will call me tcm now, as there is a recent new member who is signing in here as TC (on her posts) and I fear that folks will get confused. I am happy with either (which folks have been using), but to keep things from getting confused down the road perhaps if I just stick with tcm it would be easier and it will let our new member be her own person (ForMyMother).

Thanks.

tcmxxx (if no one gets to it sooner, I will try to search for Ninja's advice tomorrow)
