| I did a lot of reading online, and finally found a doctor in the Caribbean who suggested using virgin coconut oil for eye parasites. The Lauric acid in the coconut oil kills them, plus, they don't build up a resistance to it. I experimented until I found a protocol, which I wrote about on my blog. I can't post a link yet, but a lot of people have gotten relief from this, so I want to share it. I alternate the coconut oil with Dr. Christopher's Herbal Eyebright. I don't do it as an eyewash, but as eyedrops, 5 per eye. I use the coconut oil at bedrime for four days (which is how long it usually takes to stop the "squirmies") then I use the Eyebright for 4 days. This has kept my eyes doing very well. This is from my experience with strongyloides, but people with Morgellons tell me it works wonders for them. This is the blog post with the protocol for coconut oil: I have been asked to outline exactly how to use the coconut oil for eye parasites, so here is the procedure I used. I've had people tell me that it also works for pink eye. WARNING: ONLY use Organic Virgin Coconut oil for this. The kind you buy in the grocery with the cooking oils at Wal-Mart or any other grocery store is not pure, and can possibly harm your eyes. If you have anything that feels like an allergic reaction (pus drainage, swelling, rash), stop using the oil immediately and take two Benadryl tablets. If symptoms persist, see your physician. Proper Dosage and Frequency - VERY IMPORTANT!!! I've had someone complain of problems with this method, then I found they were putting the oil in their eyes several times a day. Too much of anything is not good for you. You should never do this more than twice a day, once in the morning, and once at night. Use no more than 4-5 drops of oil each time. It's best to lie down when you do this so the oil can get behind your eyes. What You Will Need: Eyedropper Coconut oil One flat bowl or container - plastic is best because it doesn't lose heat as quickly One smaller container that fits inside the bowl (I use a custard cup or a tiny plastic container) Tissues Put coconut oil into the smaller container. A tsp. is usually plenty. Put hot tap water into the larger container. Place the smaller container with the coconut oil into the larger container, and place something heavier on top if it floats. The coconut oil will melt pretty quickly. When it is melted, let it cool before putting it into your eye. (I shouldn't have to say that, but sometimes we get absent-minded and hot oil can blind you). PROCEDURE Draw up a dropper full of the COOL, melted oil. You will need to lay down to do this. Holding your head back doesn't allow the oil to get in behind your eye well enough. Hold your eyelids open with the fingers of your other hand, and drop 2 drops into your eye. Move your eye around to make sure the oil gets distributed equally. Just look up, down, to the sides a few times. Drop 3 more drops in and do the same. Some of the oil will run out. You don't have to wipe it away, you can just massage it into the skin around your eyes, and onto your face. If you do this at bedtime, you may wake up with a lot of sandy gunk around your eyes. This is called "frass" and is the droppings, eggs, and larvae of the worms. DO NOT wipe this away with your hands or wash it off with a washrag, as it will just get back onto you, and the eggs are not killed by the oil. Wipe this off with a damp tissue or paper towel and throw it away. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after disposing of it. You may feel a lot of "squiggling" in your eye, and feel the worms jerking around. This is good! It means the oil is killing them! USING THE OIL IN YOUR NOSE, EARS AND SINUSES If you have worms in your eyes, you probably have them in your sinuses as well, and maybe in your ears. I keep coconut oil with me all day, and occasionally swab it into my nose and sniff some up into my sinuses. You may have worms on the swab when you do this, but they will more than likely be dead. Sometimes, larger worms have to be pulled out of your nose. This is gross, but they are dead too. If you swab out things that look like little white balls, dispose of them. Those are worms that have rolled up into balls. You can put a couple of drops of coconut oil into your ears at night and plug with cotton. If you keep doing this, you will find that your ear wax will literally disappear. Much ear wax is caused by parasites. You can do this every night, but it's best to clean your ears out with peroxide at least once a week while using the oil, just so it won't build up in your ears. Always dispose of all swabs and tissues, because they may contain worm eggs, which are not killed by the oil. Be sure to wash your hands well. |
