A doctor that actually listens

After two years and several worthless doctors, I found one that actually
hears you out, is open minded, and willing to help.

Her prognosis is subcutaneous fungal infection. Said these
types of infections are extremely difficult to treat. Have not mentioned
Morgellons yet. Did not want the DOP label.

Doctor prescribed clindamycin, 300 milligrams, 3 X a day, for 30 days.
If conditions are not improved after 30 days, she is going to attempt
to identify pathegon.

Clindamycin is antibiotic, antifungal, antiprotozoan.

After one week and a half of clindamycin, I feel as if I have gotten
worse. Wondering if I experiencing a herx reaction?

Anyone else tried clindamycin? If so, did you experience Herx reactions?

I'm sorry you are feeling worse....the silver lining is that she is going to try to identify the pathogen! I hope you can hang in there until that happens; it so is unusual that we can get anyone to do any studies like that.

I am so happy that you have found a doctor to help you. Feeling worse could be part of the "herx" reaction. To get better, you will feel worse first.

I have recently starting taking Japanese knotwood, cat's claw,(and others) and have seen "changes" that I would not call good now, but stuff IS coming out of me and that has to be good.
