worse symptoms

Anybody think that their morgellons symptoms are getting worse with treatment.

I would say that my symptoms are better, not worse, since adding in some conventional medicine from my infectious disease doctor. These are an antiviral med along with ivermectin (the ivermectin is as needed). I also use herbs as well as some suggested topical treatments (such as epsom salts and peroxide in the bath). If symptoms are worsening it may be a sign that the selected treatments are not right for the patient. I hope that soon we will hear about what may have been found in the Morgellons California study as the little we know from what was posted here by one person in the study indicates there could be many background infections behind some of the symptoms we have which may vary from person to person. In my own case I have reactivated viral infections while someone did report here from that California study that she had a MRSA infection. It will be interesting to me to learn if some types of viral infections are involved with a lot of us as these types of infections are so ubiquitous among the population, though again the types of viral infections which may be present could vary. And then of course there are the fungal infections which could be present to consider.

EBV & CMV are high and are common. The only time I felt worsening of "everything" was in 2007 when I was using pesticides (ivermectin, etc) thinking it was bugs in my environment, followed by tons of RX meds. Woah. Fingernails starting falling off, lesions doubled, couldn't eat. I couldn't start turning it around until I quit all of it.
It's been a steady improvement since then, without any regressions - with one exception - and that is the emotional component. Instead of delighting in my apparent recovery, I fear relapse so much that it prevents me from doing anything! Also, the memories of all the nightmarish things that I saw....how can I go on as though everything is normal????
I KNOW that the world has fundamentally changed, and I feel that it is not going to be able to reverse in time. I'm scared for the world. This is an awful thing to admit, but when I found out that my niece is expecting her first child...I cried....and not tears of happiness.
Have you ever hoped and prayed that you were wrong???? I do.
