NeoAir Room Purifier & Sterilizer

Just wanted to share something I found online: the NeoAir Room Purifier & Sterilizer. Apparently it has a new, patent-pending sterilizing technology not found in other air purifiers. It's said to kill 97% of airborne bacteria, fungus and mold, it's ozone-free and it covers 600 square feet. Their website (below) gives lots of detailed information about scientific studies and research -- and it's been approved by the CDC and 2 other agencies. I took a chance and bought it, hoping it will reduce the need for constant cleaning. It's $299 at amazon.com and other places.

Would love to hear people's thoughts about it (although I already ordered it...) Mary

I just returned a uv germicidal unit after reading that i will have to order the bulb every year from the company, and there was no information about how much square space would be effected. Not worth the $60 to guess. The unit you are getting gives alot more info, and looks to be able to do a job helping, which is the point of why i tried to get something....I wonder if the ofs filter, that is soaked in an organic, non toxic substance...is soaked in silver?

Hi Chester, I was actually looking at the UV purifiers when I stumbled on this one. I went to a bunch of product review sites (I found an allergy review site that was quite good) and stumbled upon this one. Another good thing about this one is that it's light, so you can carry it with you from room to room. Once mine arrives, I'll read through the material and let you know what the OF thing consists of. Also, there's another version for $199 which covers a smaller room area but it didn't mention fungus so I went with the more expensive one.

Just a little FYI. I bought the Ecoquest fresh air purifier and it is VERY expensive. It does not eliminate Morgellons. It is supposedly the best one on the market and was used in space. They used it for the WTC cleanup. It is very good for killing just about everything...not Morgellons. I have spoken to a physician in NJ who also suffered from Morgellons and he too stated that the no air purifier kills our organism. He did state that it was great because it eliminated mostly everything that will cause illness while our immune system is down.

One more thing...I believe that Bubba's tip for using Eco-Vie in a humidifier is better than anything else. I sprayed a mist of eco-vie on something (looked like a very tiny flying insect)and it literally broke apart.

Bubba - your tip for using Eco-Vie in a humidifier sounds really good, but is it OK with the heat as when you put it in the bath, the water has to be warm and not hot... What do you think ?? Would really like to get a humidifier and do this as the Eco-Vie would get into all the cracks and crevises in the room, just worried about heating it too much..

Hilly, check your local drug store. Over here, Vicks and other companies make something called Vapor Steam/liquid medication for hot steam vaporizers.
