I tried the DMSO when my forearm had those pimple like looking breakouts. It was way back in the beginning of the horror and didn't even know about MMS.

It did help, but my daughter at the time was working for a vet and they used it on the animals and she "hated" the smell and would say to me.

"Are you using DMSO?" cuz she recogonized the smell and disliked it.

She was thinking I was behaving abnormally during this "initial time" of morgellons and when I answered her that "YES, I was using it". She was thinking I lost my marbles and said to me "SHOW ME". Then when she did indeed see "skin problems" she only said "hmmm" and never questioned my "skin" problems again cuz she saw it was NOT self inflicted or delusional.

She is in nursing school and before Christmas, a fellow student who has a degree in Psychology, is going for his RN (since that is where all the jobs are) and he asked about Morgellons.

Well she called me cuz they were studying together and her study partner was interested in doing a paper on morgellons. He listened to when I did a radio show and how badly people were being treated by the Pychariatrist and Dermatologist and how I could see these morg lesions and black specs in the Medical unit from patients in the hospital that he is now a believer and is continuing to keep on on the Morgellon news. He feels badly how we are all treated and SHOCKED to know how widespread it is and that some people don't even realize they have it cuz they are being misdiagnosed with other ailments.

He was impressed that the CDC is studying it too cuz that made it especially more "REAL" to him.

Most do put trust in the CDC. I trusted them so much more until I got sick then I doubted them more cuz they took too long to get on it. I am still trying to remain positive about what they may report. No sense in wasting my time worrying about it until they say something I think is wrong and hurtful for us. Until that time, I await their results.

Sorry I went off topic, my point was Yes I used DMSO, my daughter could not stand to be around me with the smell, but she did see proof of morgellons.

Now, Thankfully, Nursing students are interested and that is good cuz the word will spread back to the NURSING TEACHERS and this topic will get talked about.

I have used DMSO and as for me never noticed any smell. You want it 99 percent pure. My mother does not have this disease but it helps her arthritic hand so she appreciates it as well.

I have used mms before too i have just the powder not the citric acid to add to it but I will say a good product as well. I will say that yes you can have herximer reactions to these things so be aware of that.

I use a DMSO "roll on" on my left shoulder, which I injured about 6 months ago. I've lost over 50% range of motion with the shoulder and if I accidently over-extend, it drops me to my knees.
I think it helps a bit. People first started using it for arthritic conditions over 40 years ago, though it is still not approved for human use for arthritic conditions.
It's only been a couple of weeks, but I'll keep with it. If it has any effect on the Morgie-things, then it should help even more, because I think that is why my shoulder is "frozen". It is known that fibers collect at the sites of injuries - wish I could remember where I read that - but I did see more "stuff" come out of wherever I had surgery, etc. Some of these surgeries were very old, too...makes you wonder about how long this has been going on.

I've been looking at the chemicals that penetrate and help absorb morg products through the skin, because i think much of the morgs sit in the hypodermis - giving them access to blood but not too far away so that they can breath.

Isopropyl mystrate is one chemical found in a lot of creams, that helps absorption.

DMSO is a lot more powerful, and so I wonder if used in conjuction with safe, but effective herbals, it would do wonders.

Baraka...could you say what you've used DMSO with...aloe vera...any other mixes?

There is one thing I must say about DMSO it by itself is very safe but some things mixed with it can KILL YOU! It will carry into your body anything it is mixed with including poison. I used it as a mixture with hydrogen peroxide 35% mixed 50/50 on my body and neck it activate the hydrogen peroxide and the mixture will become hot as it releases alot of oxygen all at once. This is not somthing I will recomend, the result on my neck looked like a big coil of rope all around my neck. It stayed for a while and I did not stop treating it.

The first thing to try with DMSO is to rub it down the spine, this may, as it did with me, make the ones living in your nerves and spinal fluid go wild. It cause like an electrical storm in my back with all the nerves going wild, it was actually quite plesant feeling. I do belive that is the system of these being afflicted. treat from your crack of your *** all the way to the back of the neck. If you do it let us know about what happens please.

I used the DMSO also to close a healing face lesion, keep a small bottle of DMSO seperate from the big bottle, never return anything you use into the bottle always use a NEW QTIP or tooth pick. If you have a very small lesion you want closed quick, dab it with DMSO then touch the drop that is stuck to the lesion with a tooth pick that has been dipped in 35% hydrogen peroxide, this is a art in the fact that if you put the right amount on it will stay only in the lesion, if you put just over you have broke the camels back and it will run down your face. The DMSO will carry the hydrogen peroxide into the lesion together they will close the lesion draw it together, then take a REAL aloe plant, cut off a spiked leaf, cut off the prickers, slice off the green cover and then shave thin strip to lay on the lesion this will heal the lesion closed quickly.

Default more on DMSO

Thanks Baraka,

I've read some more.

- Its will dissolve polymers
- Its a weak acid
- It mixes easily with most substances
- It can produce an explosive reaction when exposed to acid chlorides
- Often used as a way of delivering meds to horses
- It has a sulphur base

Dimethyl sulfoxide - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Default dmso slight result

I was able to purchase the liquid form on line, can't remember where. I would apply it all over scalp and body daily for quite a while. I remember it hurt and burned a lot!! Maybe the burn was just better than the itch, and maybe I felt like it was working because it hurt so much...but it didn't get rid of the lesions at all. I was most successful with boric acid powder and decolorized iodine tincture, both available by asking the pharmacist, and quite cheap. Also used Clenzology bath products from Garden of Life with the best results of everything...available on the internet, several sites.
