Default No Cure how about COVER-UP TIPS!

Ok so eating healthy, salt baths and antibiotics may assist in treatment or minimize the amount but what about the ones that you do have: How do you cover them up with make up and medicine to wear clothes? I am stuck in turtle neck sweaters and long sleeved shirts if I can't keep them from covering my arms back chest and neck... I have tried cover stick, vasaline, a and d ointment and tinted clearasel. As well as a mixture of all in comibations and amounts used in combinations... I am going to have to have laser treatments to get rid of the scarring and pits but don't want to spend $$$$$ just to waste it again and again when it keeps com'n back. Tips would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your support,
Meg

Meg,

I have only a few sporadic lesions break out now, because of all the treatments I have done, but 2 years ago (I think it was....) my left forearm was so grotesque, I tried hiding it as much as possible. Once when I forgot to wear a long sleeve shirt, I saw my neighbor and she saw my arm. You should have seen the look on her face. "WHAT THE HELL IS ON YOUR ARM????!!!" she said. Oh, nothing.....poison ivy, I replied.

I used the same things as you did...then after it all dried I put makeup on it. Made sure I never touched it with my fingers so future applications wouldn't be contaminated.

Have you tried putting repeated doses at one time of hydrogen peroxide? This may very well be a major reason mine finally went away, when my upper arm started biting and stinging/itching. If you take a cotton ball and keep applying H202 over and over, you'll see places open up that before weren't even visible, which contain the critters.

I'm sure bathing in the salt helped also, and now that I know about the grapefruit seed extract, you might try that too.

In any case, the DSP cream I believe keeps them from coming back as well. Who knows, it could be one or two of the remedies or all of them at different times.

You have to attack this thing from the inside and from the outside.

Default Possible disease exposures for US personnel stationed in Bosnia

Hi Meg,

I see you were stationed in Bosnia at one time with the U.S. Army (Operation Deliberate Force). Here is what I found out about infectious diseases which might cause problems in those who were stationed there:

Health Outcomes & Concerns
Infectious Diseases - Short Incubation

# Diarrheal Diseases
# Typhoid and Paratyphoid Fevers
# Hantaviral Diseases
# Tick-Borne Encephalitides
# Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever
# Sandfly Fever
# Bhanja Virus Fever
# Meningococcal Meningitis
# Malaria

Infectious Diseases - Long Incubation
# Enterically Transmitted Viral Hepatitis A and E
# Bloodborne Viral Hepatitis B, D, and C
# Leishmaniasis

Other Diseases of Potential Military Significance
# Leptospirosis
# Tularemia
# Brucellosis
# Q Fever
# Rabies
# Bovine Tuberculosis
# Anthrax
# Flea-Borne (Murine) Typhus
# Boutonneuse Fever
# Lyme Disease
# Louse-Borne Typhus
# Louse-Borne Relapsing Fever
# Rickettsialpox
# Viral Meningitis
# Tuberculosis
# Cholera

Unexplained Symptoms
# Chronic Fatigue
# Fibromyalgia
# MUPS

There is a discussion on this link about each of these diseases:

Deployments - Bosnia - Operation Deliberate Force - Health Outcomes & Concerns

Although leishmaniasis is not as common with those who served in Bosnia still there are sand flies in Bosnia which have caused fevers in some military members. It is also mentioned that a few people stationed in Bosnia have had leishnaniasis, both cutaneous (skin) and visceral (internal). Perhaps you might request testing for this disease to make sure you do not have leishmaniasis which can cause numerous skin lesions in some who contract it. It might be something to rule out at the very least.

I hope you have a good infectious disease doctor as if you have had exposure to so many diseases as listed above I feel it would be essential to you in trying to regain health. I am so sorry you are having so many problems. It seems so unfair as you and so many others in the military have already made so many sacrifices under often grueling and unhealthy conditions.

Default Lymes Test

While you are there GET A LYMES TEST ALSO!!!! To cover up and heal spots here is a list to just help cover them for the sake of sanity, they must be removed one way or another sooner or later or the long term survival is not so good. I belive the skin lesions lend somthing to the systemic involvment. If you look at the pictures I posted you can see how they link together, under the skin and probably inside the body, all the little systems linked together to cover everything!!!!!!!

Here are a few healing tips, DMSO, a drop or just enough to stay put on a lesion, you may use a drop of DMSO first then as it is still wet touch the 35% hydrogen peroxid to it. You can use a broken tooth pick to hold the fluid, practice makes perfect, when you get good you will be able to stick the DMSO to the small lesion and then go back and add the 35% hydrogen peroxid to it without making it run, it is an art. Just be ready for a sever intense burn but it will be gone soon. Then take a aloe plant leaf, take the spikes off, slice off the flat side, then slice off a thin piece of clear pulp, lay it on the lesion AFTER all the dmso has dried. If the aloe is too juicy slide it around on the forhead and face to use some of that slippery juice to enrich your skin, when it is dryer it will stick. Change it whenever it starts to get dry, this can heal quickly a tiny spot of ugly or help a large already healing spot be nice in days. Fresh aloe plant pulp strips do a wonderful job, just do not forget they are there when you answer the door for the post man or friends, LOL. Funny as hell it is!!!!! Do not use the DMSO and hydrogen peroxide all the time UNLESS you are sure you will donate at least two months to KILLING the lesion as it will torment and open the lesion wider and expose the whole thing..

It would be a much smarter situation to let a doctor cut the lesion tumor out, if you find a doctor that will make sure when he goes to cut it out that you bring the 35% hydrogen peroxide, after he cuts a tiny bit of it he will think he has it all, coat it with the hydrogen peroxide and really burn it up good and he will SEE with his own eyes the real involvment without the blood. The 35% hydrogen peroxide will shut down all but the vein feed line with a few coatings. The biggest thing he needs to do is shut off the flow of blood from the vein that feeds this lesion tumor the center is evident, that is once you shut down all the flow from the red caviar looking red pulp inside the lesion with hydrogen peroxide, the only spot that will still flow is the feed vein, laser it shut deeply.

There are two other healing salves, these can be used with Band-Aids or plastic wrap for arms legs and torso. If you want to expidite the healing of lesions on the arms and legs get a 1 lb tub of DESITIN ORIGINAL 40% zinc oxide, Baby diaper department, put a good amont on and then wrap the leg or arm with food plastic wrap, wrap it well as the white stuff is hard to get off your linen or cloths. do not wrap so tight you shut off your blood flow but wrap tight enough to be stuck to skin. Tis will be one of the quickest things to heal up that ugly HEALING lesion. You can also use icamathol, spelling is wrong, get it at the pharmacy behind counter and it needs no perscription! When you use this it HAS to be covered to work well, just a band aid will do as it costs alot more than Desitin. The water in the ocean works perfect but epson salt also works well in the tub with the hotest water you can stand. People do not listen about the wrap but it works so well the longer it is on the nicer it works, maybe something to do with temperatur or lack of air, when you take off the plastic wrap have a green scrub pad ready and jump right in the tub scrub the lesion untill all the white dead skin around the lesion is gone, if it bleed don't worry, stay in the tub till it stops, then when you get out after drying wrap it again, in a few days it will look better, alot better. This method is for the real ugly ones.

One thing I have found for lesions is believe it or not Krazy Glue. It is clear, keeps stuff from getting into the lesions and yes coverstick can be used over it. Krazy Glue was once used as surgical adhesive. It is invisible on places even such as the face when it dries.

Also look for Thermazine cream (also known as SSD cream). You can buy it online. Make sure a clean applicator is used each time so the jar is not contaminated. Only a tiny bit is needed just enough to cover the hole. It is used for second and third degree burns, to prevent and treat severe infections with wounds, and it also kills fungus which is a component of Morgellons Disease.

Here is a link for Thermazine Cream:
https://www.dhphomedelivery.com/prod...?idCategory=60 .
Cover the lesion and redress wound 3-4x daily. Cover with a non latex bandaid. A good antiseptic to clean the lesion is povidone iodine which can also be found online or sometimes in the drugstore.

I hope this helps.

Default Tea Tree Oil

I have constant battles of break outs around my mouth and chin. I can tell an aruption is going to occur as I feel with what faint squirming movements under the skin in those areas. When this happens, I run for the tea tree oil and spread it all around the face. That keeps it at bay temporarily but it's a constant struggle. When the break outs do come through, the tea tree oil helps shrink the lesions.

Default Make Up

I suffer from sores/lesions on my face which can be constantly viewed by others. I have found that using the mineral powders & foundations have worked well. First, I try not to pick at the sore before applying makeup so that the temporary scab will hold the makeup. I'm not always able to leave the scab due to pain and have to clean the sore anyways. In this case I put a small covering of acne cream with salicylic acid (I like Aveno brand) to help dry the sore out temporarily. It burns for about 30 seconds and then it's pain free for quite a while. Applying makeup - first I put the mineral power/foundation in the sore so that it's flesh colored. Takes quite a bit of power, but the mineral based ones are the only type I found that don't burn or cause irritation. Let that sit for a minute. After that you can apply a cream or liquid foundation with a sponge by patting the sore to cover well. From there you can apply more mineral power to set. I use the translucent color powder/foundation so that I don't end up with dark foundation marks. I've also found that the cheaper brands work very well. My favorite is Cover Girl because the power is finer and gets in the crevices better.

This usually lasts most of the day, pending touching, sweating, etc. It is the least painful way I've found of cover these nasty things up. I have an executive job in the public eye and need to be presentable all day. It does the trick as best it can given the situation. Hope this helps you out!

Thank you for the great tips on make up.

We're going on a vacation in a few weeks to the east coast (Virginia and Washington, DC) and I am worried about what the humidity will do to my skin.

I use dsp lotion and add a few drops of colloidal silver on my face (because that's where I have my lesions) and it works great for me. I'm afraid to use any coverup/foundation on the few lesions I have.

megluth72, I will try what you have suggested if I have a break out.

Also, I have more lesions in October and at the end of March. Anyone else notice this pattern?

In the white light,
~jonsi

Hello every one. I wanted to check in to tell you how my accupuncture treatment is going. After going through some serious doubts about the effectivness of accupuncture for this ailment, I am here to say I feal great. It took probably 10 treatments and I am still going. I have so much more energy and a possitive out look on life.
My doctor of Oriental medicine also has me taking Ever Spring's JIE YANG WAN pills twice a day. She also does direct moxa on me. That is an incredible treatment. I think the importent thing is the DIRECT method of Moxa. She also mixes alot of different essential oils that I apply to my skin.
Please google these things to find out more.
I also started using New Hope 2 skin care for morgellons. It was developed by a RN in central Florida expressly for morgellons. It has helped the leasions and burning and pulls all that science fiction crap out of your skin. My skin looks better than it has in a couple of years. The company name ESP Essential skin products.
All in all I feal great right now. If I can be of help on any of these issues let me know. Janice
