Has anyone tried Diatomaceous Earth for this problem? I personally do not have this problem, but in reserching Fenbendazole for use with my dogs I ran across this message board. And after reading about Morgellans and that it my be parasite related, I decided to join this board and write this post. Incidently, it has been claimed that many diseases including cancer might be related to parasites.

Anyway, I own a dog kennel called YipYipDog Kennels and we use "DE" to kill internal parasites including heartworm and it can be rubbed into the coats to kill external parasites such as fleas and ticks. It also kills single cell organisms like amoebae and protozoa.

"DE" is a naturally occurring, soft, chalk-like sedimentary rock that is easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder which is actually fossilized remains of diatoms, a type of hard-shelled algae.

"DE" is used as an insecticide and de-wormer, due to its physico-sorptive properties. The fine powder absorbs lipids from the waxy outer layer of insects' exoskeletons, causing them to dehydrate. Arthropods die as a result of the water pressure deficiency, based on Fick's law of diffusion. This also works against gastropods and is commonly employed in gardening to defeat slugs. Over time it will also eliminate a cockroach infestation.

It has many other uses such a toxic spill cleanup and is interesting to note that "dynomite" got its name from the inventor as he used "DE" to absorb nitroglycerin to make it more stable.

Just "google" it and you will find numerous reading material on it.

Best of all it is totally natural and safe to ingest with no side affects. The only "danger" there is comes if it is breathed in as it is a very dusty powder - so just be careful handling it not to create alot of dust or to breath it in. A dust mask can be worn if necessary.

The only "side affect" so to speak could come not from the "DE" itself, but from the parasites dying as they might excrete some toxins that might make u feel sick and have nasty bloody looking and smelling stool.

Incidently, it can most easily be purchased off of Ebay and shipped right to your door, and sometimes goes under the brandname "Perma-Guard".

Please post any results both good or bad if anyone tries this remedy.

I have tried 'd', drinking, encasing whole body..then scraping..always mixed w provodone iodine.once used mix w gentian violet.... I raised dogs as well..horses,cows poultry etc..
It seemed to work, do not try g.violet..only myvet recognized that long

I have tried almost EVERYTHING !
Just have 0 energy to write these days..on animals, & myself, ivermectin paste.(I put it on big mole I had in armpit..2 weeks after constant ivo.slather, mole vanished..well..reduced to v small listless dot.

I had good results with the Praziquantel14%,Ivermectin1.78% paste in a tube dispenser from a feed and seed store or a Tractor Supply store.It6 tastes terrible but it saved my life.How long have you been taking the iver and what has been your progress from the use of it?
