Detox could be a mix of symptoms due to the Bactrim entering and exiting my system as well as starting the Compounds (HSO Probiotic, IPS and Nutriclear these are the Viatron supplements prescribed by my Dr., but not prescriptions through the regular pharmacy)

Lesions, 8 on my face, 4 on my neck, 6 on my arms, 2 on chest and 1 on my back
Fibers and pods coming out like crazy
Itching not too bad mostly on my face and neck

Huge black eye lid (looks like someone popped me a good one!) def. from Bactrim, skin bruises easily on this medication before and after using it

Tired and cranky (this stopped Friday night)

My lips look like I had Filler injected into them not sure what this is from, but I like it, used to have full lips lost them over the past 5 yrs but woke up a couple of days ago and they were huge again, LOL!!!

Total frustration, especially bc of the lesions. The large one that I had for almost a year started to create a new opening through the old scar and has grown almost to the same size as the old one. This and a cpl others already broke open and oozed I think this happened before I will need to recheck my posts and see. Pods are much larger this time around and more fibers in a smaller area vs. last time as well. Not sure if this is bc more is purging with the compounds or if this is bc the bacteria has gotten stronger since I was off the DE.

Friday night my motivation came back and has stayed through this A.M. I have only gotten 4hrs of sleep the last 2 nights, my body is retiming itself and my sleep schedule ( also think this happened last time on the DE as well)

OK I think thats all the new symptoms....

Xoxo,
Meg

hi everyone---

catching up on this gargantuan thread!

wow meg--you have been through the wringer and back. thank you for sharing your journey in such detail. i'm so spacey half the time that i find it hard to take notes on my own progress/regress.

kritters---i just wanted to add that i, too have trouble with the bra. in the winter i wore those spandex camisoles and didn't have quite as much trouble. but i've switched to a strapless for summer and some days it's just a mess down there on my two friends.

i also notice when i put a slip on---which is everyday, because pants are not my friends!--that for the first several hours i get the biting crawling around the waist. it seems to taper off toward the afternoon. i already smother myself at night in DE--but i will try meg's suggestion of applying more before dressing.

ps---ernest borgnine!!!!! LOL.....

Default DE update Day 9

Well frustration levels are still high trying to get rid of the new lesions however they are healing much better and faster they are also not as large or deep as previous ones....
The fibers are still popping out as well as the pods at a higher level than I remember. Hoping this is from the detox compounds purging them with the DE. I am thankful they are not all turning into lesions.
The past few days I have been trying to keep them covered with the non cotton bandaids for at least 2 days before I change them, as this helped heal them faster the last time. I also have been using the DE as a full body suit as much as possible. Even though I don't have itching. Maybe it's my security blanket hoping to sufficate them inside and out.
No new lesions.

I also have removed the hair off my arms this makes it easier for me to see the fibers, since they don't grow like normal hair, they just pop out fully grown and when I pull them out they all have the hook at the end of them... It seems that this helps keep them in the skin and most do have at least one deep pod with the fiber balls trying to form other fibers I pull out the pod connected to the fiber leaving a small pinhole but heals. I have found around 5 fiber balls 2 being in the chest lesions, these are the most painful and keeping the cell food drops on them after washing them has worked the best to pull most out. This works for the the deeper pods too, the ones that you can't seem to get and spend hours digging and pulling, I have stopped doing this and wait for the cell food to work them out and then they just wipe away.
Anyone notice the hook thing at the end with their fibers? Several also have the smaller baby looking ones attached in and out of the skin....

Kelly how did the DE bra thing work?

Tip for lesions: I have one on my lower lip that is really long not too deep it was 3 in one I think and this has been a troubled breakout spot for me for many years.... Bc it's on my face make up cakes around it making it look gross cracking and falling off. I use olive oil and liquid makeup over DE and do not put powder over it, leaving it oily. I also put blistex cream and nivea cream on it (bc it is cracks everytime I talk or eat, this has helped especially when I use it over my treatments at night and sleep with a thick coating on it.

Xoxo
Meg

Hi All... I'm finding the DE very helpful, am taking 2 heaped deserts spoons a day with Muilsi, and have mixed some DE with E45 cream & apply that to lesions & skin under elastoplast, I find it lasts longer as a cream instead of as a water paste, it was making me cough at night as a paste & being as you should'nt breathe it in is healthier, thank God you told us about it Meg.

I think I will take it forever even if I ever get better as a precaution.

I find the cream ever so soothing, stops itching & biting sensation, any cheap cream will do. ...Spotty...

Smile Hi SD...De

I totally agree with you about the DE. I will never let myself run out of it! It has made a big difference for me. I had to quit using it for a few days though. I got my diverticulitis inflamed and everything hurt my colon. Ouchie! Anyway as soon as I can I will be taking it again. I haven't kept up using it on my skin, and I should. I don't have lesions though. My skin feels really dry no matter how much lotion I use. AH me, the things we have to put up with! I hope it helps your skin to feel wonderful. XO DD
