| Hi folks--- A full-moon week---hope you all are surviving intact. My nightmare day was Thursday 12-11. Usually the itching, crawling, biting sensations drop off considerably for me at work---and even in the car, but during these full moons, the symptoms seem to know no geographical bounds. Ten hours of intense itching/crawling, biting and I was a wreck by the time I got home. I stripped off my clothes, jumped in the shower, and tried a new soap that my health practitioner gave me. It's called Auromere Sandlewood-Tumeric soap--it also contains Neem oil. I lathered up from head to toe---hair included. My scalp had been particularly bad that day. There's an area where it feels like something alive has locked onto me. Sometimes I get a disturbing vibrating sensation there... Anyway---this stuff burned like you wouldn't believe, but it took away almost all of the awful symptoms immediately. It never burned quite so bad upon later applications. I've used it for the past 3 days--and my skin looks better than it has in months. It really seems to dry up the lesions for me. It is pretty cheap--I just ordered 10 bars from iHerb.com for about $1.30 a bar. This current bar looks like it will last me another day or two, so, maybe 5 days total? That makes it waaaay cheaper than the Nizerol that I've been using for both hair and body. I can run through a bottle of that in less than five days, and that runs me about $15. While I feel pretty certain that this soap is the major contributor to my decreased symptoms right now, I have done a few different things within the last week that may be helping, too. In the interest of full disclosure--because it's hard to tell what's really doing the job, and it may be a combo---here's a list: Started taking Pectosol-2 per day. It's supposed to bind up the toxic metals in your system. Also began something called Nattokinase. It's some kind of Chinese enzyme, I believe---I'm not sure what it does! I think it may be an anti-inflammatory. Went back on Atarax at night. I've been switching around with anti-histamines, using Claritin, and Zyrrtec and this Atarax that my Western doctor prescribed. None of them do much, so I'd kind of given up on them, but on that desperate night, I took 40 mgs of Atarax and then 4 hours later, took 50 mg more. I slept the first full night in months. I've continued to take the 50 mg dose each night and am still sleeping all the way through. (The prescribed dose of this for me was 10-40 mgs every 6 hours, but a little internet sleuthing showed that this is far from the minimum dose. Forty mgs wasn't doing anything for me---not even knocking me out for long. I'm being cautious and using what works, but it looks like you could go as high as 75-100 mgs, maybe more. Please consult with your doctor or do your own searching on this---I'm not qualified to give anything like the final word here) Other stuff I'm on right now (dosages haven't changed in the last week): Milk Thistle---four droppers per day Raintree Amazon A-P capsules--one per day Lots of Kleen Green in the environment and in washing--I love this stuff, but man, it is pricey! It doesn't leave a brown stain on everything like the Eco-vie, does, though. Diatomaceous earth in the carpet, in my boots everyday,in the car and occasionally, lightly sprinkled on my skin. Wishing you all lots of healing! Kelley |
