Just to snag and link together some old tumeric info from a thread started by EvDownJR--he had a few links on the subject:

Turmeric: More evidence why this may be really good for us. (aka Curcumin)

OK I saw that thread .It was old ,not much info and no miracle word.I want to encourage members to start taking this not suggest that maybe it is good for us. I'm not stealing Ev's thunder.
Jo are you still on meds?I am thinking of just supplements mms, salt and the root of Tumeric
Meds would probably interfer with its healing properties.
BTW I heard from Ev and he is doing ok .
He sends his love to everyone here.

Hi there Carla,

I didn't think you were stealing Ev's thunder. Far from it. It just seems to me that linking similar older forum info on a newer thread (even if "not much info and no miracle word") is helpful to newer members. Many have trouble finding old info on the same subject and others are too sick to bother. I did not mean in any way to ruffle your feathers as what you posted was great info. I know you are very interested in this herb.

BTW, and off the subject, I am glad to hear that EvDJR is doing okay.

Sorry TC, I didn't mean it like that. My feathers are smooth .LOL
I really think this is a miracle spice. I've heard so many people being cured of various ailments and my symptoms have improved so much.
The depression I usually feel coming up to the full moon only lasted a few hours. And I have hardly any joint pain.
I cant wait to get back on the MMS and full supplements too.I think all three might be the way to a cure.

Default Tumeric research and other tumeric information

Hi again Carla,

I just located a website which has a list of tumeric research abstracts from Pubmed. These abstracts highlight some of the many health benefits of using tumeric:

Curcuma Longa Extract - Research

This doctor has some interesting comments on tumeric:

Turmeric benefit : by Ray Sahelian, M.D., turmeric powder research health benefit of turmeric extract and side effects

Here is brief summary of the TCM usage of this herb, including a few formula names in which this herb is found. According to TCM this herb effects the heart, liver and gall bladder meridians, all areas this disease seems to effect. Come to that Morgellons seems to effect nearly everything in the body at some point:

Radix curcumae a.k.a Curcuma root (Yujin) - TCM Materia Medica @ @ Traditional Chinese Medicine Basics (TCMBasics.com) - Resources, Herbs Wholesale, Materia Medica

I hope you keep us posted about the changes you notice in your health over time. Good to hear it is working so well for you.

Interesting thought Jo. Maybe it is the mustard which is working for some folks in that yogurt mixture.

Thanks TC,
I noticed a comment in the first link that said they had made a paste with Tumeric and healed an infected insect bite in three days. Worth a try on the leison maybe.
You, Jo are one clear thinking genius and I 'm so glad we have you.
I'll give it a go on one I have on my leg. I think it is gonna sting though.

Hey Carla....thanks for this thread. I got excited about it as well as the oil of oregano when I saw your post. I have already ordered the oil of oregano, from Puritan's Pride.....thanks to 2many's help.

I would love to try the tumeric also, and as you said, stop with all the antibiotics on the Vanderbilt Protocol, although I am doing MUCH better!! I would guess since I found you guys here that I am about 75% better than I was!! No kidding, I really don't know what I would have done, or if I would even still be around, and for that I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for everyone's input here. There are some amazing folks on this forum....

I however am a little afraid to take the tumeric, and just wanted to make this post so others in my shoes would be aware. The information that I have read says that if you are allergic to shellfish....to NOT take it

I don't know if it's reliable enough to say that, but I am allergic to shellfish, although not shrimp and crabmeat, and am afraid to try it. My allergy is to oysters, clams and scallops(possibly others, not sure what else). I myself do not know the difference between the different shell fish, but am severly allergic to the ones that I mentioned.

If anyone has knowledge of the difference please let me know, as I really would love to try it with you.

Niecy
