I have found a shampoo that can be bought in the black ethnic haircare section which REALLY helps the scalp alot and does not cost alot of money. It has both clove leaf oil and peppermint oil. It smells good for men or women is gentle and also leaves the hair soft.

You want to wash hair with a dime size dollop and massage for one minute with fingerpads, leave in one minute then rinse.

Hey LadyColorado,

Thanks for the shampoo tip. I just used this product and
it really worked great. I expelled a huge KNOT FROM HELL out of
my scalp. It was quite inexpensive at Wal-mart
and was about 7.00. It smells like cloves and I smell like a holiday
cookie...

so far, my hairs been ok, now ive just jinxed myself, watch...head and shoulders, panteene and panteene conditioner always works well for me.. i sure my hair dont all fall out now just because i said that!!
