I think the best way to stop the progression is to balance your PH levels.The pH Nutrition Guide to Acid / Alkaline Balance page 0 - Introduction

Try the Green Tea Treatment Jo recommends too.

Green tea reduces the itch

I think taking supplements helps keep my symptoms down but not everyone agrees.

For the welts I have found DSP cream very helpful you can buy it at
Morgellons Treatment, Morgellon's Disease, Sovereign Silver, Citric Acid - Genes All Natural Products if you like.

Here are the old treatment steps for Morgellons which do give some guidelines as to amounts of products to use in the bath--this list does have specifics under the baths section:

Hope this will help answer some of your questions about how much product to add to the tub.
