Default GSE (Grapefruit seed extract)

Hi all,

Baraka, just read this in my Naturalnews newsletter:

Study Shows Grape Seed Extract (GSE) May Prevent Alzheimer's Disease

"Researchers orally administered a new grape seed extract (MegaNatural-AZ, Polyphenolics) to rats that are genetically predisposed to develop beta-amyloid plaques in their brains. These plaques are known to increase the risk of cell damage and death, leading to cognitive decline and a greater risk of developing Alzheimer's disease."

Amyloid again. Zee puzzzle pieces aaaar fittting together niiiiicely.

Kritts ,
I dont know if you saw this. Maybe I was away when you were talking about it.It was about the Fungus infecting bats and possibly bees too.

Quote:
Mycologist David S. Blehert of the U.S. Geological Survey's National Wildlife Health Center in Madison, Wis., and his colleagues identified the fungus as a previously unrecognized strain of the group Geomyces.

Geomyces are fungi that live in soil, water and air and are capable of growing at the low temperatures found in winter caves. Researchers had difficulties isolating it because when the dead animals warmed up in the laboratory, the fungus disappeared. It could only be grown if kept cold.

When Blehert's team studied bats microscopically, they found that the fungus invaded the skin by way of hair shafts, sebaceous glands and sweat glands. Once it gets into the wing, it erodes epidermal and connective tissues, affecting heat dissipation, water control and gas exchange.

"We found that this fungus had colonized the skin of 90% of the bats we analyzed from all the states affected by white-nose syndrome," Blehert said.

One hint that the fungus is the cause of the disease is that DNA sequences of fungus from all of the caves are identical, indicating that it is a newly introduced organism. If it were a latent, opportunistic species that attacks bats only after they are weakened by some other environmental factor, researchers would expect to see slightly different DNA profiles from different locations because they had been introduced at different times, Kunz said.

If it does cause the syndrome, that would be "pretty unusual," said bat biologist DeeAnn M. Reeder of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. "I don't know of any other fungus that infects mammals that is lethal."

But if it is the cause, she added, the fact that it can grow in only very cold conditions "gives us hope that it won't spread to warmer parts of the country where bats don't hibernate."

Meanwhile, researchers are still looking at a variety of other potential causes for the die-offs.=

Carls,
If the fungus can only be grown if kept cold, how could it grow in us? (of course, I do know that some of us are cold-blooded creatures)

Fungus has been implicated in so many diseases including cancer.

Default GSE grapefruit seed extract

The GSE I always talk about is GRAPFRUIT, Kritts do you have it yet, if not get it. The stuff once again brought my immune system to the site of affliction and did it harm. If you use it in the ears long enough you will feel it in the head below the ear canal. The pain will be pretty good but for me it passed in a day. I am glad to get my immune responce on the ball. If you use Grapefruit seed extract on the face lesion you may end up with one swollen monster face. That may be but it is one of the only things to bring certain immune responce. The other is PDQ cream. The PDQ cream would be more to the lady's liking as it does not swell you up and hurt so badly. I am not sure it is the best thing to kill a lesion but it will draw alot of it out and then heal it over leaving a little pink spot. I just started one on my hand from a pimple it is now sized lesion it is now 3/4 inch round. My immune system has come to do the job. The scab is brown not yellow or white with blood in it.

Thanks Barak, I guess I read that too fast and my brain's auto-correct just made me think grapefruit rather than grape.

I wouldn't be surprised, though if grapeseed is really a key player also. I've been eating grapeFRUIT and chewing the seeds as well. When I was young (about 150 years ago, we only had grapes with seeds and my great aunt would say to chew the seeds along with the grape cuz it's good for ya. Also to eat the skin of fruits and veggies most importantly) I speak of her often on this forum because I'm amazed at the knowledge she had just from having it passed down to her through the years, which has been found to be scientifically accurate.

Anyway, I did buy some and have been putting in my drinking water. I believe GSE is also in Marc's DSP cream, and my skin is really looking great. My face is cleared up completely (knock on wood) and I have a tiny scab on each forearm. I just picked one open and no blood came gushing out as was usually the case. I've had my lesions clear up in the past and then have a breakout again, so we'll see. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Here it is read up on it, it DOES work and work well. If it does not kill it the first time it will get it in the next few, it really depends on the size. You should not wash the are, do not get it wet, sponge bath while ding this. I imagine you can get rid almost all of the body lesions all at once arms legs ,torso, the face is a little problem as some times these things get pretty big. If you dare I would say do all of them at once it will cost you some money though as a tiny bottle is 89 dollars. If you compare it to all the life TIME you have wasted you will see it is a GOOD deal. If you compare it to the thousand you have spent at a doctor it is a good deal, if you just want to heal up and look good it is the best deal. Do not pick off the scab, the bottom side of it seems to be what keeps the immune responce working, let it crumble off. You will be amazed at the outcome. Some times you have to keep after a lesion if it has the white plastic on the outside for it to react!! You know I have done so many things I forgot for a long time one of the best, I got so indulged in opening them all the way with the hydrogen peroxide I forgot about the PDQ cream. You know if you try it, I am sure you will see huge improvements and when you do, PLEASE post your results, so others will know and believe the results.
