| I have some issues with cleaning because everytime I go to a new area of my environment, I get "bitten." Does anyone have any useful information about preventing more bites while cleaning. I have all of my luggage from NY in the garage, my car keeps biting me, and I am concerned about my air ducts and appliances. I keep cleaning the appliances, but I see the particle board shedding and I am wondering if this has something to do with the never ending cleanup. I also have carpets. If anyone has experience and tipes, I would greatly appreciate. I am trying to stay focused and energetic, but the boys have been difficult and I believe the humid climate of south florida is making my job more difficult. I welcome all advice. Thanks to all, Melissa

| melissa, Two conditions exist here on this board. One is morgellons and the other is the condition you just described. I can tell you what you need to do. This is different then the morgellons program. In areas of high humidity and warm climate these flying insects are more active. These insects get into everything in your house that is a dead air space. All you can do is keep the numbers down. If you own the home and need to stay. I'd suggest getting rid of carpet and replace with laminated flooring. Thats half the problem. Keep all furniture and nick knacks to a minimum. Get a menthol crystal diffuser ( contact a bee keeper).Keep this in your bedroom top keep them down at night. Paper, particle board, and fabric are their home. If you have air conditioning button up your house and turn it on. No air conditioner open up some window and blow air out. Large fans help. Knock down all webs on walls and ceiling. Clean with ammonia, vinegar and phosphoric acid products( spray areas to be cleaned then leave the room). Launder in very hot water add borax. Put cleaned clothes in plastic bags and add moth balls. Don't use bath towels twice to reduce laundry I dry with disposable paper towels. They're attracted to light (computer monitor) and your head is right there. Get back from monitor and scroll from your lap (not the table). To be contnued....WTG |

| Sorry I don't have any answers, but a shoulder to lean on I'm hoping to learn from the replies u get! I'm exasperated by the whole environment thing. I'm so exhausted all the time and have a hard time even trying to keep my skin clean, let alone household cleaning. Seems these 'fibers' are everywhere! They're in my oven, in my dryer and even in my refridge & freezer. Think they're in the food, too I'm afraid to eat, most of the time, cause when I do, I usually end up puking. (sorrry so graphic!) How old are your children? I have twin 7 y/o boys, so it's hard keeping things clean w/o worrying about moving fibers! Hang in there, we'll all get through this together!Hugs, Philly |

| Part 2.... At night take a shower with a shower hose, up close to the skin ( as hot as possible) . continually move the shower head ( like ironing clothes) and rub hard with the other hand ( all over the body)( face and hair). This can be done in a bathtub also (the best way). Dry then go directly to bed. Do not turn on any lights in the bedroom and close the door. Leave a light on outside the bedroom. Turn on the crystal diffuser or use a waterless vaporizer 'Vapor Eze" with menthol/eucalyptus pads. Menthol products like IcyHot and vicks vapor rub are good to repel and kill. Vinegar will stop the crawling feeling and a spray bottle is good for getting in corners. I've given up on my house and stay outdoors most the time and sleep in a dome tent. The crystal diffuser can be used in your car but vacuum often. I use plastic trash bags to sit on. They go right over by bucket seats. Get rid of floor mats ( fabric and rubber). If you can smell menthol or vinegar this will keep them down. Use a lotion on your face after cleaning (hot water). I use coco butter with a little IcyHot added but even sun block lotions are good. I have totally got rid of them by living outdoors on a sandy beach or desert with a shade tent with no walls. A bike, motor cycle, scotter or ATV for transportation is all I needed. (no cars). When there's no place for them to hide they'll disappear but when you return home they'll still be there. This is what we need to work on. ..WTG |

| Oh Bubba. This is so exhausting. I am doing well at night in bed, but in am there are specs around bed. No new bites. I know that while I was gone in NY there was too much moisture. I will not quit, but now I know why the ammonia and salt and borax was working better than anything else. I am fearful that the neighbors are going to call social services on me. I want to believe that I will overcome, but it is such a big job and I just purchased over a year ago. I moved here to this place from one building away from the World Trade Center on 9/8/01. It went condo and I used my 401k to purchase and the rental market was impossible at the time. If I have to, I'll dump it and move but I really want to win. I should start throwing lots more out - right? It's funny that you mention flying because I have found my car and home to be extra dusty just like my dad's house was. I find a lint and a spec attached. I don't want to be so aware, but I know I have a huge job ahead of me. What do you think?

| I 'm saying that morgellons and this condition are 2 totally different things ( apples and oranges). Biting and pin prick may be present in both. I don't know, I don't have morgellons. I only know about these insects. It's simple. The people on this board who's houses and cars are not infested have morgellons. The people on this board that do have infestation in their house and car have insects. These insects fly and will infest you at the computer. These 2 conditions need to be separated . If not unnecessary suffering will happen. .. WTG |

| Carla, Crawling, biting and pin pricks are too general and can be confused. Flying things and lint balls are things in the environment, not a disease. A disease doesn't fly, or I hope not. I have the crawling, biting and pin pricks too. WTG |

| I cannot be sure what is going on until I have all the proper tests done, but I do know that I was told by the well paid exterminator that my bugs are skin, lint and scabs and dried up spores. Anyway, the Morgellons treatment steps have provided the only relief thus far (skin, internal and external environment, etc.), but I am battling the bug in my environment more than some others due to the high humidity and warm climate. I live on a lake and I survived many hurricanes in South Florida and 911 in NYC and I will survive and beat (so to speak) this bug. I will say that Borax, ammonia, salt and vinegar work well in my car, home, clothes and closets in my situation, but it all comes back to me. I believe that I am infesting a lot of my environment with this bug when I came back from NY. I'm sure there was hostile elements here before I got sick, but when I did get sick, they attacked me here in Florida. It was very progressive. I'm not a scientist. I was a business executive who didn't even like ants and now I work very hard at motherhood. I just know that I need to be healthy to be a good mother. I can do that with all your help and by believing that God is with me and knows that I will be courageous in my journey to good health and killing all the critters! Lets all love one another and respect each other. We are all here to help and love one another. Thanks for taking the time to inform me and other newbies as we begin this scary journey. Because of you, my scariest phase is over already. After weeks of pure frenzy and fear, I pulled myself up and followed advice and prevented a much worse situation. You are all terrific and truly gifts. Bubba, you are the most amazing individual I have encountered. God has big plans for you and is using you and all of us. This is world changing/life altering work you are doing. Frankey, thanks for the site. Hugs, Melissa
