Default Question Regarding What To Put In Bath

Okay a quick question before I head out to the store here.

What kind of salt do I put in the bath, is it just regular table salt, or is it some special salt I need?
Also after I soak in the bath, what do I do after?

Do I shower normally with the selsun shampoo, or do I just get out of the tub and let myself dry?

I am going to try this test to see if anything comes out of me, I still don't know yet.
I am heading out within the hour.

Need to know!

P.S Anything else I need to pick up from the store while I'm there?
Maybe some Doritos!!

You can use just regular table salt. I get the cheapest I can find. You can also use Epsom salt, but it's more expensive. You can also place the salt in your hair while you are soaking.

When you do a peroxide/salt soak, you shower and rinse AFTER the soak. I usually alternate products such Selsun Blue, Nizoral, or a citrus shower gel. You can also use Palmolive Oxy Plus Dishsoap. I like to switch products out, so whatever I have doesn't become immune or adapt.

When you do a vinegar/salt soak you shower and rinse BEFORE your soak.
I dry off using a blow dryer.

Yeah, Doritos and a movie sounds good.

Okay! I am back from Save on Foods and More (though I know I didn't save going to that store )

Okay so here is what I got

Epsom salts $5.49 for a bag
Ground Cumin (there was one that looked brown, so I got the other one that looked the closet to green)
Peroxide (4 bottles) 3%
Selsun Blue - normal $10.70
Paper towels
Sifto salt
White Vinegar
Palmolive oxy

Extra stuff I got:

Lipton sidekicks Pasta (yum)
Milk
Organic Juice
Beef (stirfry)
Chicken breast
Apple cinnomon cheerios
Bounce

O ya, and I had to pay a recycle fee on the milk!

Anyways my total was $108.62 and all I went was for the products I was told to get! Jeepers!

Well I am about to go take my bath now, I will post results after.

Here's to my heath!

Well I have finished my bath.

I opened 3 bottles of peroxide and poured it in the water with 2 cups of Epsom salt. I got in the water and sat there. There was a lot of bubbles coming out of me. I noticed that around my hair more the bubbles came out.

I looked and looked and I did not see anything swimming in the water. I noticed that there were a few pieces of hair and skin flakes, but that is all. Nothing out of the ordinary except for the bubbles.

I also submerged my head.

After I showered with the selsun blue and used paper towels to dry.

To be honest now I still feel itchy, but I feel it has to do with dry skin. When I go to scratch after you can see that my skin is very dry.

So I do not know what to make of this yet? Does anyone have any answers for me?

Well I was told that a good way to find out if I have morgellons is to take one of these baths and see if anything comes out.
So I guess you can call it an experiment if you want to.

I don't have any open lesions, but like I have said in other posts, I am itchy, I get bitten, but they go away.
I have more internal symptoms, I guess you could say.

Maybe you can try a lotion such as Gold Bond to get rid of your itch or try Benadryl or Lanacane cream and see if it goes away.
This is quite a process narrowing down what is going on with me.
No answers anywhere I turn

Hang in there, Knight~Ryder. I believe you will get better.
I agree with LadyC. Bubba will do everything she can to help. It also helps by keeping things simple and systematically sticking to a plan and not deviating.

I was a mess when I first came here. I was hurting, confused, depressed, and now I feel the most normal I've felt in 18 months. To learn more about "bubba", you can read her story here:

Hang in there, man. Like I said earlier, it's not an easy thing to self-diagnose what you might have or might not have. But the treatment will probably help with some of the symptoms.

I'm not sure if you can tell just from what comes out during the baths. Some have had lots of stuff; I've never had that experience, but overall, the itching and the granules have decreased for me, as well as the pseudo-scabs. My skin feels better and the symptoms have decreased; I'm usually itch free for a couple of hours after a bath. The peroxide also cleans the scratch wounds, and it helps with my eyes. Something else I noticed is that when I first started the baths I would be on my back and slide under the water. Not being a small person, the middle of my chest and abdomen would not be soaked much--guess what? I started getting bites right along that line, so maybe that indicates the baths have some effect.
BTW: Regular salt works well for me and it's 60 cents for a box here--it doesn't matter if it's iodized or not, I don't think.

In any case, I hope you feel better.
