There is no cure for Morgellons as yet but there are a few things most members here agree that help keep symptoms down.
They will not take effect overnight so you need to stick at it
This is just a very basic guide and you have to find out what works best for you.

Rotate the products you use, as Morgellons quickly adapts and becomes immune.
A few products which you can try include ;

Stay away from proccessed foods especially if it says Sugar-free.I have no symptoms since starting a raw food diet but if you can't do that at least eat a salad often as you can.

GREEN TEA-Be sure it is an organic type,at least 3 cups a day
DSP- Divine Skin Palm .Lots of other effective products too.Support Morgellons Organization DSP
Enzyme Cleaner -Bug Arrest and eco-vie are favourites with members here
Hydro Peroxide-I get a 35% one and mix it myself because it is better value. Care must be taken
Borax-Stockist include Boots Chemist in the UK and Walmart in US(20 mule team is 100% Borax)
Baking Soda Bicarbonated Soda
White Vinegar
Salt - a natural salt like Himilayan Rock Salt or Celtic Sea Salt for internal use.Ordinary Household Salt will do for other bathing and laundry.

Internal Treatments

Antibiotics and Wormers are helping people keep down symptoms but even long term use is not a cure and must only be taken under medical supervision.
It is a personal choice you need to consider carefully after doing some research yourself.
There are natural parasite cleansers you can try as an alternative. This site has good information on Treatment Protocols.morgellons topical internal treatment protocol gmo

Whatever you decide building up your immune system is vital.

Build up your Immune System by;
Stop eating processed food
Get plenty of natural sunlight
Replacing caffine with Organic Herbal Tea
Reducing Stress
Increasing exercise.
Drinking plenty of Fluids.
Sleep as much as you can.
Reduce your sugar intake.(try stevia if you have a sweet tooth)
Taking Supplements and Vitamins

You could try the Stanley Boroughs Master Cleanse for a least three days .
Baking Soda and Mapel Syrup

Vitamin / Supplement regimen ·How Nutrition Can Effect Morgellons

Multivitamin
-a good quality one

· Vitamin C – 1,000 to 1,500 mg twice a day

· CoQ10 – 30 mg twice a day

· Alpha Lipoic Acid – 100 mg twice a day

· Calcium / Magnesium / Vitamin D – 250 mg calcium / 125 mg magnesium twice a day

· Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids – 1,000 mg twice a day

· Zinc – 25 mg one to two times daily

· Garlic – 100 to 500 mg twice a day

· Vitamin E – day)400 IU once a day (or 200 IU twice a day)

· Vitamin D – 400 IU once daily depending on sunlight exposure

· Amino Acid Complex – taken according to label directions

You should aslso eliminate toxins from your body.Cut out processed food and fizzy drinks.
You should also include a good Quality Natural Salt in your Diet.
Eat plenty of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables

It is important for morgellons sufferers to balance their PH levels.
The pH Nutrition Guide to Acid / Alkaline Balance page 0 - Introduction

Topical Treatments

2 or 3 bottles of 3 per cent Hydrogen Peroxide and half canister of salt into a warm bath or you could use an enzyme cleaner instead. Soak for at least thirty minutes and wash with a soft bristled brush..
Next bath use an enzyme cleaner instead.

For Leisons use DSP or Lactid Acid creme according to the instrutions.

Do this every few days use an Enzyme Cleaner in your bath.Soak for 30 mins and wash using a soft bristled brush.

If you do not have a bath you can make a solution up with warm water in a spray bottle and soak your entire body.Leave for 10 mins before a shower.

Use paper Towels or air dry if possible.

For Teeth you can use a drop of Hydro-peroxide in Baking Soda to brush twice a day. Rinse well

Cleaning Your Home

If you are too unwell or don't have the energy to clean your home just treat your immediate surroundings and wait until you feel better.
The most important thing is getting yourself well and having plenty of rest.Do what you can when you can and
don't get stressed out about anything.

You should rotate the products you use to clean your home,as Morgellons adapts and becomes immune to most things if used for a few days at a time.

Microfiber cloths which pick up and trap dust.
Paper Towels and a couple of spray bottles will help make things easier.

Vacuum clean the entire house starting at the top.Dont forget to check ceilings and light fittings for any cobwebs.

Spray entire house lightly with a strong solution of enzyme cleaner, including walls, doorways and doorknobs.
You can use White Vinegar/water in equal parts as a substitute if you have no Enzyme Cleaner.
Let it dry off then wipe or hoover everywhere again.

Wipe down any shelves with enzymes or Vinegar sprayed on paper towels or microfiber cloths.

Wash down cupboards, worktops and furniture with a warm solution of bicarbonated soda or vinegar.

Every day vacuum and dust your living and bedroom areas aily.(esp. under beds)
.Change the Vacuum Bag Often and put the hoover away after each use.

Wash all clothes, sheets and bedcovers in Borax, salt and your usual detergent. Stop the cycle mid wash and allow a 30 min soak.

Keep Bins and Laundry Baskets well covered and somewhere draught-free.

Put clean laundry away immediately.

Clean bathrooms after each use with Bugarrest\Eco-vie spray.Spray everywhere with bug arrest/eco vie, leave for 10 minutes before cleaning.

Use a brush attachment to vacuum your Pc and Keyboard.
Then wipe with a damp cloth. Your more likely to get reinfected by your pc than your bed.Do the same for the remote control and TVs etc.

Don't forget Air Conditioning Vents and behind radiators

--------------------------------------------------------------

Check the house for leaks and damp and have any repaired/treated.The Fungal Part of this Disease thrives in damp conditions.Lots of us find a Dehumidifier helps.
Mold | Indoor Air Quality | Air | US EPA

If possible replace carpets and curtains with easy to clean flooring and blinds.
They become a breeding ground for morgellons and impossible to clean.

Cover your mattress with a zipped mattress protecter.
and use Duvet and pillow protectors.
Don't use feather pillows.
Wash the sheets and covers twice a week with Borax/salt or Enzyme Cleaner .

Declutter your home.Only keep what you need. If you cant bear to throw things out store them in plastic crates with lids.It helps to get your house as easy to clean as you can.

Carla, so glad you put the DSP site on. I think people who have just found this site will find the products so helpful and I only wish I had had the chance to use them about 2 years ago when I was really bad..... Marc really should be congratulated, ... the DSP works so well, now there is another special stronger one... the mouthwash is great, and he has wash powder and liquid for the bath/shower,and also for laundry. You can also use DSP as an insect repellent. Thanks for all your work... wonderful. Hilly xxxx

Default Viral infections: Arginine and Nut Consumption Cautions

If a person has a viral infection arginine may quite possibly worsen symptoms of the infection.

Here are some short articles which discusses the importance of a good arginine/lysine ratio if one has any viral infection or reactivated viral infection. In the interest of brevity on this thread I copied short statements here:

Issue 10. Lysine, Arginine and Viral Infections (2007) CISRA’s Synergy Health Newsletter
by J. C. Waterhouse, Ph.D. There is evidence that the ratio of the amino acid arginine to lysine in the diet affects the replication of Herpes simplex virus. One may find it helpful to minimize arginine-containing foods (nuts are particularly high in arginine) and/or balance out the arginine with lysine, particularly when under stress.

Some people have also found that being mindful of their lysine and arginine consumption is helpful in prevention and treatment of Shingles (also in the Herpes family). An article in the Saturday Evening Post has described potential benefits in chronic fatigue sydrome in cases where viruses in the Herpes family are involved (these include Epstein-Barr virus and Cytomegalovirus) based on the work of the late Dr. Richard Griffith of Indiana University. The main thing to remember is that nuts and plant based proteins (like rice protein powder) have the most arginine relative to lysine and dairy products have the lowest. Meats are in between and the higher protein foods will be the ones to pay the most attention to since they have the highest concentrations arginine and lysine. This article includes a list of arginine and lysine content of foods: Herpes - Nutrition. If one prefers, the lysine can be taken in supplemental form. For cold sores, Dr. Griffith recommended 500 mg of lysine per 22 pounds of body weight daily.

Studies: Relation of arginine-lysine antagonism to Herpes simplex growth in tissue culture. Griffith RS , DeLong DC , Nelson JD. Chemotherapy, 27(3): 209-13 1981 Abstract excerpt: “In the studies conducted, arginine deficiency suppressed Herpes simplex virus replication in tissue culture. Lysine, an analog of arginine, as an antimetabolite, antagonized the viral growth-promoting action of arginine….”

A multicentered study of lysine therapy in Herpes simplex infection. Griffith RS, Norins AL, Kagan C. Dermatologica, 156(5): 257-67 1978 Abstract excerpt: “Lysine appears to suppress the clinical manifestations of Herpes virus infection. 45 patients with frequently recurring Herpes infection were given 312-1,200 mg of lysine daily in single or multiple doses. The clinical results demonstrated a beneficial effect from supplementary lysine in accelerating recovery from Herpes simplex infection and suppressing recurrence…..”

Relation of arginine-lysine antagonism to herpes s...[Chemotherapy. 1981] - PubMed Result

"In the studies conducted, arginine deficiency suppressed herpes simplex virus replication in tissue culture. Lysine, an analog of arginine, as an antimetabolite, antagonized the viral growth-promoting action of arginine. The in vitro data may be the basis for the observation that patients prone to herpetic lesions and other related viral infections, particularly during periods of stress, should abstain from arginine excess and may also require supplemental lysine in their diet."

Sample of a low arginine diet menu is found on this site:

Low Arginine Diet

It seems to me that if a viral infection is behind some morgellons lesions then eating foods high in arginine could worsen viral symptoms, including the formation of additional lesions if a viral infection is present.

Hi Pat,

Don't worry, butter is fine. I love Kerrygold from Ireland myself. Dairy products have a better lysine/arginine ratio than do nuts. If in doubt we can always add a bit of L-lysine amino capsules into the mix, but I think probably it is better to stay away from peanuts and other nuts. At least for a time if active herpes infections are in the picture. More on foods high/low in these two amino acids.

Hey TC~~~

About the nuts, specifically the peanuts... I read that the thing that causes allergies is the fungi all over the shell. They are grown in the soil and the way they have to be stored is key.

'oh NUTS!' said the Queen. If I had to I'd be King! The King laughed 'cause he had to (two;-)

My external irritating symptoms mostly went away the last year but are back because I started taking vitamins again.

I've got to start over with some of this.
I took a bunch of dewormers back when I thought I would lose my mind - on a suicide do or die missionn lost some coordinative ability from pipercillan but that resolevd. Havent seen worms in 2 years.

The other stuff lives on my scalp and the back of my arms and legs deep under skin.
Scalp is the hardest to manage because of sebacious dermatitis.
What I did previously I will have to restart:
1) keep my hair oil free with daily shampoo soak and very little conditioner on hair ends
2) keep oil off of scalp, face, neck, arms and legs
3) start using alcohol skin prep pads to immediately and meticulously clean any little speck that appears and any area that is making specs. Requires a lot of work.
4) if area becomes a hot spot apply alcohol gel - sanitizer to suffocate the suckers but have to be in well ventilated area. Been known to saturate an area and cover with saran wrap until the itching stops. Of course the hair and skin are extremely dry and brittle but hey the fibers die for a while that are close to the skin. Itch relief.
5) more baths in epson salt and detergents or just oil free bubble baths.

6) alkaline diet.
7) no dairy
reduce salads etc.

Try this

with parazapper with additional zapper interruption by tapping finger against handle instead of holding it. Its the vibration it kills them. Take your colloidal silver too.

Felt great bugs were pissed and nothing is stinging right now.
