Default Nodules, Channels, etc. - help :-(

For those of you with heavy scalp involvement....nodules, channels, large areas of hair loss, and the oftentimes unbearable pain and disorientation that results from all of this (esp. during a flare-up):

Im in dire need of an effective treatment approach or even short-term remedies, as this has always been and continues to be my WORST morgs symptom.

i've been on heavy duty antibiotics since january for chronic lyme, babesia, and bartonella - initially the scalp symptoms waned in severity...but since i started working again three months ago it has grown progressively worse to the present day. at this point i have many nodules, one or two large channels, a soft-ball size area where the hair has "disappeared" (i.e. some fell out in clumps but most appears to be sub-dermal)...the other night i watched and felt these nodules or wahtever is underneath them move up and down my scalp...what a nightmare this has been.

anyway, i need help...nothing i throw at this seems to help...any suggestions?
- emily

Hi Emily~

A horrible situation to have that on your scalp. I have only a few lesions (that I know of) on my scalp and they seem to be confined to annoyance.

Have you tried any of the remedies from this site?

I know I have a network of critters under my skin isolated in the upper arm area at this point. I've taken out a fiber that was hiding amongst my arm hairs pretending to be one of them and as soon as my camera is working I'll photo it. But it seems at least for my arm, and there are no visible nodules or channels as yet, I have had success in stopping the biting from going over the area with hydrogen peroxide repeatedly until I see the white come up revealing where they are. The biting stops and in a few hours all the white disappears also.

I wonder if the dsp cream would work, or maybe the new recipe with yogurt Nancy is now using.

Good luck and I'm sure others will offer advice.

Hi Emily, There are two things going on with lesions....they need to be opened, and they need to be erroded. Acidic base works well for opening, Alkaline for lifting up and cleaning out. This effort is based on chemical processes i dont understand but have observed. However, another process is at work with the Sovereign Silver i used to errode my dogs lesions. It may be the silvers ability to "choke"the critter by robbing it of oxygen, and or prevent growth. This brand, after much research was my choice of safe high tech silver and can be found at Whole Foods or Vitimin Shoppe for about $12 for the small bottle(spray, dropper, or nasal). *******There is also a reaction of the lesion callus substance to water....it provides a quick window time to "dab" the area with kleenex or toilet paper to "blot up" what could be the reaction of calcium carbonate to water....which is what, i have forgotten. This blotting distroys the recombination of a quickly hardening covering, thus removing some of its parts. Overtime this effort is an errosion. The baking soda also inhibits its reconstruction, and after your scalp is wet, and blotted.....here is a decision to make. You could spray it with silver and see how that goes, or you could powder it with dry baking soda and "wear" it against the scalp letting it work for you, while you go to work. Finding out if this would be comfortable would be the idea. A proceedure could be established for experiement:1. Put the recipe onto the scalp before taking a shower. The minute it begins to sting...get in the shower. In the shower, rinse off the recipe and give the scalp a good scrub with baking soda. Let the soda fizz a few moments against the sores, then rinse it. Re-apply if you have time. 2.Then shampoo with whatever makes you happy and blot the scalp. Then spray with silver, and use it off and on all day/night inbetween showers. If the scalp gets itchy, rub it with aluminun foil...yet another reaction i dont understand but works. This breaks up the build up of static electricity. If the theory i am following is correct, that this is a marine organism secreting calcium carbonate....this organism regards hydrogen peroxide as an aprodesiac and is used to stimulate spawning in abalone farms, so i would say....dont use that. ************I have used Sovereign Silver for over two years, both internal and external safely and with good results. Once we get this critter identified we will better know what works best. This is the best that i have observed, i hope if any of it helps you will give us a report, for we all pray you have victory over this situation. Nancy*********** Here is what we call "the recipe"and according to dragonflys measurements.....1t.milk,1t.plain yogurt, stirred with 1/2t.dry mustard ,1/2t.ginger. Stir, refridgerate with cover. Can be applied with a table knife, butter it on and gently scrap back and forth with the tiny teeth of the knife end. Wipe off and repete, or put on and let dry. Miracle Foot Aloe cream(walmart/walgreens$10) will also open up a lesion callus. Before a shower, rub it into the scalp. In the shower absorb it with dry baking soda.....then shampoo, blot the scalp and when hair is dry....drip silver into the scalp for the day. Combing and brushing do remove tangles of fibers that accumulate each day from the hair. WARNING>>>>>>>>Wearing aluminun foil hats to take a vacation from static buildup works, buts anyone who sees your new fashion will laugh at you

i can tottaly relate to the feeling of your scalp being overloaded.chester could you help me come up with a concoction for my scalp lets for instance say that they're flatworms.what could i put together to wear on my scalp.i can't afford the silver right now.i've read that neem oil would kill some and i have been searching for it(homedepot, lowes) i want straight out oil.i've heard that they do have a soap but its only 20 percent neem oil. i read your posts and i do get it to.
thank you

Hi Robin...i can only report my observations of my experiements. I have kept focused for two years on miracle foot aloe cream and baking soda. I just recently began to experiement with the "recipe". We are still at a point where everyone is "doing their own thing", or trying everything. I am having success with my proceedure, but realize what i am getting out has anatomy similar to an organism making a one sided shell that is red. It retracts into the skin pore, it pores out a covering that hardens instantly. I have to assume i am the only one with this particular organism. I have tried to give excrusiating detail for groundwork of comparrison. Beyond that, i dont know what to say.
