| Hi everyone, I am not real good with computers so excuse me if I am doing this wrong. I have been dealing with this situation for about 14 years now as far as I can tell. I only found out what it was about 1 1/2 years ago. But in my years dealing with it and docters I have found alot of things to avoid. This so far has worked way better than trying new things to get rid of it. It does not go away but it will go dorment. Here are a few things I call the 'EEN' factor. Avoid these things in or on your body or your pets if you think they have contracted it. *Gasoline *Wasp & Hornet spray (cyclohexene) *Weed B Gone (dimethylamine) *Nicotine (cigarettes & and things that help you quit) *Caffiene If you have pets or try otherwise *Flee & Tick spray (methoprene) *Flee & Tick shampoo (N-Octyl Bicycloheptene) *Dog Wormer (piperazine) *Lice treatment (these have Pyrithrins I know not an een but they are also found in the flee and tick stuff, very bad stuff. Then you have the Pharmacuticals. *Codeine (pain releiver) *Epinephrine (decongestant) *Tetracyclines (for infections) *Atropine (for motion sickness) *Amoxapine (for depression) *Amphetamines (illegal or legal like Aderall for ADHD) It's not always on the bottle but should be on the discription paper when you pick it up. May also try a perscription drug book to make sure. *!*In fact most medicine given to control mental disorders which is what the docters like to give Morgellons patients since for so long they said it was all in our head. Maybe thats why so many got worse so fast. But I did find something that will dry them up overnight, one is grain alchohal like Goldschlagger, vodka, some others and beer this also helps on your head. the problem is most are very alchohol sensitive but it helps. The other is Benzalkonium Chloride at 0.250% almost impossible to find anymore that strong. Its in things like Bactien antiseptic spray, antiseptic towellettes. and is used in hospitals to scrub up for surgery. I found some old antiseptic towellettes and it burned like h*%& but immediate results I don't know if it kills it or just runs it somewhere else. I hope some of this helps and if I might be wrong on some please let me know your results. I am sore free right now and almost fog free, but my eyes and muscles are still feeling it. Propably because my roof in my home has been leaking and my master bath is almost consumed in mold and under and over my bedroom I now know this is a big factor in breakouts. There may not be a cure yet, but there is control. Hope this helps ![]() |

| Welcome gnefertina! Thank you for posting. Your "EEN" factor is easy to remember and good to keep in mind. I'm going to start paying attention to this. Coffee & cigarettes are two eens that I should give up.... I can't think of eens in vitamins or vegetables, fruits except for tangerine, nectarine but I know those aren't the eens you are talking about! In the white light, ~jonsi

| Thanks for the list Gnefertina! I can relate to the piperazine, which I used on my cat's neck. It caused lots of white bits to come out, but he lost alot of fur and the itching was intense. It did make me wonder whether it caused a 'die off', but it didnt help him get any better. Coffee's the kicker for me...how to give it up?? Benzalkonium Chloride was in some wipes I used to take off some mascara last week (but the wipes were for cleaning surfaces not meant for the face! bit stupid looking back on it) - this caused living 'things' to migrate out of my eyes and to glow blue. Still experimenting.... I sometimes use Chlorohexidine Gluconate as a shampoo/shower gel - this is also used to 'scrub up'. I just find it helps reduce the white debris from my skin and in turn reduces itching of folk around me. I think its got to be the antimicrobial action of these chemicals that does the business. Thanks for the heads up Jo xxx |
