| Hey Sprite!! YES - here's some rough feedback http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...p?topic=3838.0 jo xx |

| This is a post that I made last night, sorry it's not alot of information. http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...8;sa=showPosts Seasprite, it's amazing that you ask were we abducted by aliens.......I felt like I had been. It wasn't the fault of the convention, it was due to a "concerned friend" that went with me. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. There wasn't really any new revelations made concerning Morgellons. The ladies that I picked up along the way were very nice people, and I am glad to have gotten to know them. I am sorry that you are disappointed that there has not been a summary yet. I got sick on the way out there, and have been sick since starting home. My grandson has a temperature of 105.2, I will get a summary ASAP. Niecy I just got this from a friend, it sound very promising. http://cbs11tv.com/health/Morgellons....2.689110.html Quote:

| Hey Niecy, Sorry to hear that you got sick - it was a big undertaking whilst being on your protocol hey. Glad you got back safe and sound. Hope your grandsons fever goes quick too. You take it easy xxxxx ![]() |

| Hey Niecy, I hope you are felling better! I am sorry to hear there wasn't much new info at the convention. Would you say it was more of a informal gathering of morgellons patients? |
| |||
| I thought maybe you also might have been really wiped out and tired. Were you having to "protect" your concerned friend? |

| Hey Franky, and thanks I am feeling some better, after resting today. I guess the conference was very structered. They followed the program all except the female dermatologist didn't make it. Her presentation was made, I think by her remotely. She is very disturbed by her chosen profession, her colleagues, at their ignorance of what is happening. There was an awful lot of patients, or victims, that did talk to each other, and compare symptoms, and of course lesions and scars. I would have to say that probably 75% of the people that are patients seemed to have very similar symptoms. There was probably several that actually do have some other illness, whether it be physical or mental. There wasn't much news presented to us that we weren't aware of. The only thing that seemed to be unexpected was Mark Darrah's presentation. He said that they do not think agrobacterium is involved, and seemed to be leaning towards different proteins. He didn't go into detail over much. He actually used the word "gooh", and "stuff", and "wax" quite often. It seemed very generic. I will say that I was told that he had only had the samples he used for his presentation for about two weeks. He showed several pictures of the fibers, as well as normal hairs, and pointed out the differences. For instance the fibers were hollow. Some of the structures were segmented, as if they were shed skin off of a worm. He made the statement about alot of the slides that they were of "importance" and needed to be studied more carefully. Dr. Greg Smith was very passionate in his presentation, and didn't use the overhead screens. He is very disturbed about the medical profession and the way they treat patients today. I felt like I was at a revival while he was speaking. My heart hurt for him, because it is very obvious that he is a very sick man. He also stood up while Mark Darrah was making his presentation, and defended him from the bardment of questions that started very soon after he started his presentation. Cindy Casey actually got up and ask everyone to allow him to finish his presentation without any other interuptions.I am sorry to say that I had to leave before question and answers. It is still very hard for me to accept the way the "family, friend member" of mine that went with me acted. It made it so hard to concentrate on the speakers. Ginger Savely and Ralph Strickler made very well laid out presentations on how and why they are treating their Morgellons patients. Ginger Savely actually gave her standard protocol, and the results of the patients she has treated, some 300 now. She said thay she did an analasis of 44 Morgellon patients, and 43 of those patients tested positive for Lyme. I can't remember which speaker said it, but they said that aproximatly 95% of their patients tested positive for Cpn. I feel so bad that I can't give more information, but I do know that the whole convention was professionally recorded, and will be available the 1st of May, at cost. Maybe I will be able to get more from it, as I can view it undisturbed. One of my highlights was getting to meet Jonsi. She is a great lady, and we went and ate dinner after the convention. I haven't had the opportunity to speak with the girl that was with us about the reception. I am going to be talking to her tomorrow. She will have alot of information to share. I hope that this is just a little more informative than earlier posts. I will try to get with her and post some more info tomorrow. If it takes a little longer please understand that I have a grandson, the apple of my eye, that is very sick with a very high fever right now, and we may have to take him to Le Bonner Hospital tomorrow. I would appreciate all of your prayers for him. Niecy xxxxxxx Quote:

| Seasprite, I am sorry to say that it was quite the opposite. She was very rude, and I have never been more humiliated in my life. She embarrased me more than I could say. But no, I wasn't having to "protect" my friend, I was having to "defend" our illness, and the people at the conference. It was a very unsettling experience, and I have not been able to sleep but about 9 hours since 8:00 am Sunday morning. I have had nightmares. I will be okay, it will just take me a little time to accept that someone that supposedly loves me acted like I didn't have enough sense to, I can't even think of a word to say. She insulted me, and although I didn't allow her to do it verbally, everyone involved. This is a woman who has claimed to be my best friend, and also my husbands aunt, for nearly 14 years, it was very stressful for me, and just talking about it now has my blood pressure up. I probably shouldn't be talking about it here, I just wanted everyone to know that I didn't mean to come home so ignorant about the convention. I will have to somehow forgive her, or I will wind up in bad shape from the experience. I apologise to everyone at the convention, and here for not having more insight to others attitudes that are quite ignorant of the facts. The sad truth is I don't talk alot to anyone except you guys, because if they havn't put the time in to read and study this illness, they just can't comprehend any of it. I told her yesterday that until she had put the time and effort into studying like so many there, and here, and myself included she needed to keep her damn mouth shut and stop being so judgemental and accusationary. We will have answers eventually, I do believe that. I thank you all for your patience. Niecy ![]() Quote:
