| Yes, really interesting and Harriet Bishop's experience is so similar to mine... Having got Lyme altho' I did'nt know it at the time and then with a compromised immune system, I got the rest of the infection (morg) from the chicken mites which were near the infected potting compost I used .... Certainly I now believe that in my case, it was Lyme that started it and then when weakened the morgellons moved in from the plant agrobacterium.. I think we've got rid of all the culprit soil, but are still spraying the tubs etc with eco vie.. Dr. Stricker is, I'm sure on to something here..... Millyx |

| http://www.purefood.org/ge/hansenGEexpl.cfm Yes that could be true or maybe we were exposed in another way. The Lyme could have been the precursor but maybe there are many ways the second part took place. Cindi ![]() |

| Cindi, hi. I went to this link, at the bottom it talks about "identity markers". This is the very first time I have mentioned this to anyone besides my family. I have been introduced to a man who is a Bio-Chemist recently. He sat down with me in his home. This man is 68 years old and has a very impressive knowledge of many things, way to many to mention. I don't know about such things personally, but I thought someone here might have some knowledge about it. He has told me what he thinks is wrong with me, and is getting me an appointment with a doctor he knows. He says it is more simple than most people could have thought about. He thinks that I have something that is the exact opposite of an auto immune disease, or disorder. He thinks that what has happened to my body, and why I am showing major complications to something most likely everyone around me has been exposed to, is that the organism in me, and he thinks it is a parasite, a specific one, has the very same "identity markers" as my body does. He says that my body make up is only probably like one in a hundred. He thinks that could be the reason that only 14,000 people have registered with this disease. He thinks this is directly related to parisites and organisms that live in the soil, and that my animals and property, and home are probably heavily infested. His suggestion is that because of that my body doesn't see this organism as a foreign invader, therefore it is not fighting to get rid of it. He says that my body is literally infested with it, because it doesn't know to fight it. He also said there would be no antibodies in any of my tests to show this organism in my body for the same reason. He thinks that is the reason that all of the tests that I have had are showing negative. That and the fact that the lab technicians have no clue what they are looking for, and quite literally most likely don't care. He is quite amazed that I am still alive. He said that the parasite that he thinks is responsible should have killed me long ago, without proper and timely treatment. He says this parasite will invade every tissue in the human body, including brain, lungs, heart, kidneys, liver, gastrointestinal system, and the skin. By the way, this is the man who from just "hearing" about my symptoms, and related history, from a friend immediatly thought this could be dinaflagellets. That is why I got so interested in Steve's Bryozoan Hypothesis. After seeing me in person, and what he called a very lenghty " interrogation" of the surrounding events, he very quickly told me it was not dinaflagellets. Like I said guys, I am not a scientist, he is. He majored in chemistry first then went back for a degree in biology. This man has worked for himself for most of his life, but has been involved with the US Military in many ways for the last 40 years. So if this sounds dumb, or logical, I hope someone will comment on it. I am very curious about his observations. Thanks ![]() Niecy Quote:

| Hi Niecy, It reminds me of two things. Bacterias that love to live and feed within immune cells (such as Cpn and possible Borrelia), inside they stop the body activating an immune response. And secondly, when testing for parasitosis doctors look out for elevated eosinophil and serum IgE, or immunoglobulin E, levels in patients. In certain roundworm infections, for example, some species have been reported to secrete substances similar to interferon-gamma which stimulate the TH1 anti-viral pathway. So what Joey????? Well, the stimulation of the anti-viral pathway suppresses the anti-parasitic pathway, WHICH suppresses IgE and eosinophils. In Cyptostrongylus, that I've been diagnosed with, this is the case. And there's more.......that I'm gonna post in the Cypto thread about its survival mechanisms. Sneaker little ![]() Not sure if this helps??? Does it Niecy, does it???? Jo xxx |

| Jo, I get what you are saying, and I would tend to agree, but, that is not what he meant. I questioned him many times to make sure that I understood what he did mean. He literally meant that the reason this was attacking me was the identity markers of the parisite were "identical" to my own bodies identity markers. Therefore it doesn't look any different to my own immune system than anything that is "supposed" to be in my body. He also said that is why my body WILL NOT produce antibodies to this parasite. Does that make any sense to anyone at all?? I get what you said, he made me understand what he said. I would like to know if that is possible, medically speaking. Thanks for your quick response. | Jo, what you said may be exactly what he meant. The problem may be that my mind just can't comprehend this. That is a very strong suspicion that I have about my ability to understand any of this. Niecy xxxxxx
