Pleased to meet you, too Natalie

Colloidal silver to my knowledge has NO iron in it. Treat externally and take about 1 tsp internally.

Mix Grapefruit seed in water and treat head. DO NOT USE STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE it will burn. Also, take 15 drops GSE in 8 oz of water internally

You may want to rotate these or try one a few days, then switch to the other.

Gator

Hi Ellie,

I think a healthy hair root end looks like this:

http://www.scalar.co.jp/gallery/img/gallery/m03b.jpg

Just found a couple of other links that are for education purposes and may help when scoping:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hair_follicle
http://www.hairtransplantadvice.com/...r-follicle.php

I will keep digging. I've seen a number of my samples in the superbug videos...enough to make me concentrate on finding more (http://www.silentsuperbug.com)

One thing Dr Staninger did mention in the radio interview, was that we must 'rise above' this mentally.

Together we can win and live.

I have a head and hair question.

I've always had long and curly hair...think Julia Roberts hair but brownish red.

So, I cut it ALL off. It is 1/4 of an inch short. Meanwhile, my boys who have had 1/8 of an inch hair for years are now sporting surfer long hair.

They are losing hair left and right. Is this normal for 6 and 7 y/o's? I have so many friends down here with hair issues ( knotting, itching, loss, siriosis (sp.), etc.) This was not an issue in NY. I have had fine dry curly hair since I moved down here. I had excessive hair loss which I attributed to age, stess and pregnancy.

Any ideas?
M

In TCM hair is controlled by kidney and liver function. You may be interested in reading this article which I will quote only partially:

"According to Traditional Chinese Medical diagnosis, the organs that influence the quality of hair are the liver and kidney. Ancient Chinese medical texts state that the strength of your kidneys manifest on the head hair and that the hair is also an extension or surplus of the liver blood.

These terms can be confusing or sound strange and should only be used in the context of Traditional Chinese medicine. If this article is your first exposure to Chinese medicine, you should realize that it has a system of diagnosis and treatment quite different from what you may have learned in anatomy and physiology or from your family doctor.

If the liver blood and kidney essence is plentiful, then the hair is thick, healthy, and retains its color. Symptoms of a deficiency in liver blood can include: pale complexion, dizziness, dry, dull skin and hair, and fatigue. Kidney essence can loosely be translated as our genetic material and our energy reservoir. The kidney system influences metabolism, growth, reproduction, hormonal and nervous systems. Some indications of weak kidney essence are: weak bones, poor teeth, deafness, impotence, infertility, exhaustion, and poor quality hair.

As we age, the energy and vital substances (blood, essence, fluids) of the liver and kidney naturally decline. This causes hair to become thinner, more brittle, lose its color, and recede or fall out. Some of us age faster than others, either due to a congenital weakness or because we live or party too hard and burn ourselves out. In this case, the blood, energy and substances we do have are going to be used to nourish our internal vital organs first, which means there is less left over to nourish our hair, skin, and nails. There are ways to help preserve and increase our energy, blood and essence with acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, and other lifestyle adjustments."

Since most of us are immune comprised and probably have parasites of one sort or another it does not seem too far fetched to imagine that this could effect the quantity and qualtiy of hair.

Jo and Tcm way to go. The video of the skin looks just like mine does, first it looks like a bug bite then the hair that comes through is infected, now what do you do. I think the demodex wash did make it worse, so I am back to the DSP cream. I know that taking the salt-perioxide baths dried the skin to the point that the hair got locked under the skin. Now I have red marks and if you look at them closely, there is a read area around the hair after I shave. And of course, now I have the black specs. So I do believe this disease get worse, before getting better. Now do you pull out the infected hairs before you soak in the eco vie. Or do you just keep shaving them. I itched so bad this week that today I slept and nothing was going to wake me up, plus I am having a hard time going potty again. Even taking all kinds of supplements and a med for it. Hubby cleaned the bathroom real good today, so hopefully that will help. We got to keep fighting. TCM, I was not drinking my tea as much this week, only thing I changed was adding the goji juice. ALoha to all, Unclear

Well, Seasprite,

This sure was fun to read before I had my morning coffee

It sure is amazing, isn't it? There is so much the people who are entrusted with our care in health...the professionals who are not equipped to deal with disease.

I do have some information on a product that helped my head this week.

JASON NATURAL COSMETICS DANDRUFF RELIEF SHAMPOO
it has MSM, Neem Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Colloidal Sulfur, Rosemary and Apple Cider Vinegar as some of the beneficial ingredients.

My scalp has not had the ithcy or tingly feeling so much and It has made my hair feel thicker and more healthy. I have needed 2 quarter size squirts to cover my head not just the one it recommends.

Thank you all for your support. I am still going thru my dx and I have appointments next week with a dermatologist who has at least heard of Morgs and an infectious disease guy for the "lyme" or whatever it is.
