I cured my own Morgellons

Hi. I had Morgellons. I went to my local hospital and they said it was an unidentified virus . I then went to my allergist who said she had no idea what it was. She thought it was either psychological or physical but unsure how to treat it. I had gotten it from a girlfriend who shared my house at the time with me it would seem almost certain. Anyway, being college educated I conducted some research and studied the fibers and bugs and since no one found a way to treat it, I found a way myself and I have been rid of this syndrome for years now. I contacted that Morgellons Foundation in CA and told them I cured myself relatively easily in a matter of weeks using household items etc., and they never cared to ask me about how I did it so I figured they were in it only for the money and to receive more grants from the government. That is what my doctor said anyway about them. I contacted the CDC research center today and told them if they want to speak with me they can. I dont know if what I did would work for everyone but it did not involve using any prescription drugs and the leisons went away very fast. An EAstern European diplomat friend of mine thought that the Taliban put some bioloigical weapon into illegal US drugs like cocaine and it was being spead that way but I cannot confirm or deny this as truth.

I never did drugs, nor did others here, so although it could be spread among those who do to each other, it's not a valid hypothesis, IMHO.

I look forward to hearing about your remedies.

And listening to yet another "you all do illegal drugs that is the problem" post does not go over well with me, as many here cannot even use prescription drugs (I am one who has trouble with antibiotics and have for years--think the Taliban dumped something into them too?). I am sick of this hearing type of insinuation, no matter to whom it is attributed ("An EAstern European diplomat friend of mine"). If anything we are toxic from the chemicals dumped into the environment in which we all have to live. Sometimes even prescription drugs are in the water people drink as these were dumped into the sewer systems and leached into ground water from there. Something over which we have no control. Maybe we get sick and others do not because our pathways to handle excess toxins is genetically impaired.

"I cannot confirm or deny this as truth." So may I ask why you have posted this scurrilous information at all? Is the intention to hurt people here, who happen to be very sick, even if you are fortunate not to be sick? If rumor and inuendo alone support this idea it does not belong on this forum.

Look, what do you think that scientific "theories" are ? The have not been elevated to the level of positivist scientific law yet. What I have stated is a theory a friend of mine proposed after he saw me ridden with the disease when visiting the USA a few years back. It seems like you need some type of attitude adjustment. I'm not going to post here if I have to put up with comments like yours that my posts dont belong here. I have enough attitudes to deal with in day to day living. I dont need to deal with it here.

We are sincere, slightly vunerable, but wonderful people trying to find answers through scientific research and our own precious experiences with this.

If you want to add your experiences and experiments....please add them, but don't play with us.

I recommend that your comment regarding illegal drugs and the Taliban should be better placed on a appropiate conspiracy website...unless you or your friend can point us to a basic level of evidence??

First, I have not even thought of Morgellons for a year or more until this morning when my former college professor called to tell me he sent me a copy of the news article that the CDC was conducting new research on the disease and that I may want to contact them about my own personal experience with it and getting rid of it myself. Second, I never posted that "everyone with the disease is an illegal drug user" if you have even read my post in its entirety in detail. I rid myself of the disease using heat and other methods which I will gladly divulge tot he CDC researchers if they wish to contact me. I called them and left a message. I am not a MD I am a political scientist / sociologist by degree. If you dont think my posts belong here fine.
