Default Update: lemons dissolving my lesions

Update on my earlier post: I've been rubbing lemons on my most stubborn lesion for the past few days (I've tried EVERYTHING and nothing would make it budge -- it's on my elbow and very painful). It's SHRINKING! (Just be warned the lemon juice will sting a bit in the beginning.)

Some quick info on lemons.

Benefits of Lemon:

1. Lemon act as blood purifier and improves the body’s ability to get rid of toxins.

2. Lemon fruit is excellent in fighting disease that's related to infection.

3. Buy lemon to get rid of certain insects. It’s mother nature’s version of insecticides and will help to repel mosquitoes and flies

5. Drinking lemon juice is useful for people with heart problem - because of its high potassium content

The use of Lemon:

1. Drink fresh lemon juice to cleanse your system

2. Use pure lemon juice on wasp and bee stings to relieve pain

3. Lemon juice mixed with olive oil may help to dissolve gallstones

4. It is believed that regular intake of fresh lemons may be useful in treating cases of kidney stones

Excellent post Franky!! To add to your list: lemon is also a natural anti-fungal agent. Isn't it funny -- we're all hearing how beneficial lactic acid and citric acid are. I'm always looking for products that have these -- and everything I needed was sitting in a lemon! Makes me want to stroll down the produce aisle in search of other treatments -- avocados anyone?

maryok - this is an excellent suggestion! for ease of use and low cost, I tried the Minute Maid concentrated lemon juice (I found it in the freezer section at Stop&shop). It's 100% natural, no squeezing required, so it makes it very convenient which I like. It has been extremely helpful in the treatment. Sting it does!!! but it appears to help, so I encourage others to try as well. thanks for the post

Has anyone found that lemons or any citrus would work on getting rid of moles as well? I don't mean regular moles, but the ones that cover a large area of the body, like all the back or neck from this disease. I had heard once that caster oil would dry them up and it does the small tag moles, but what about the oval flat ones or slightly raised? Anyone have any luck getting rid of them or doesn't anyone have this problem? Thanks for any reply's. Snow

Snowlady yes castor oil was used by somebody I know. He used castor oil mixed with baking soda. Its a old Edgar Casie remedy. It worked for his moles and warts. It took him about 3 weeks to get clear. But try to make sure the mole is benign, just to be on the safe side.

Franky, thank you for your reply about the caster oil. I guess I didn't use it long enough and I didn't use baking soda. I am going to be hopeful this works.

I have had the problem of having a sore tongue & some sort of little worm looking thing showing up there. (someone else talked about this - was it LadyC?) I've rinsed with Hyd. peroxide, salt, listerine, & eco-vie. The Eco-Vie worked the best in the past, but now that I've heard about lemons, I'm sucking on them (pucker up!) when my tongue hurts & they really rid my mouth of these things quickly! Hurray! I can barely stand the pucker, but better that than beasts on the tongue!!! (sorry to be so gross!)

Stay strong everybody!
