Lemons & Bananas!!! Had a wonderful serendipity yesterday! I am having these stubborn rashes on the back of my hands, coupled with white worms poring out of my palms. The ones coming out of my fingers are actually hard and erect, thus difficult to remove.
I had actually been tweezing them which takes FOREVER (there are hundreds) -- and it's painful, and makes my skin bleed. I even tried waxing the suckers but was too challenging.
Anyway, I was squeezing some lemon into a glass of water and I thought, what the hell? If it's good for your insides, maybe it's good for your outsides too. Bingo! Apparently lemon is a natural anti-fungal, plus it has citric acid -- it totally released the white things. And because lemon is a bleaching agent, I noticed it lightened/removed some dark spots on the backs of my hands. Plus, it brought up black specks way below the surface.
Today I was eating a banana and said again, What the hell? I mashed up the bananas and covered the front and back of my hands -- it brought up all this stuff in the cracks, and black dots way below the surface. If the bananas dry too fast, use some cream to get it up. Interestingly, the things it was bringing up from the rashes in my hands actually came out as red worms/fibers. New one for me!
