This is good on its own for lesions in keeping tham clean, and female hygene some put into. The brand I find in the USA dollar stores (like Family Dollar)and Wal-mart is fresh and pure medicated provodine-iodine douche.Like a vinegar and water disposable douche, (LC).

You know, LC, I had thought that povidone iodine would be an excellent choice! I remember from a few years ago that it is considered antifungal, as well as anti- other germs and problems. Is there another way to purchase it, than the feminine hygiene products? I don't remember seeing it any other way...

Well a way to buy the concentatrate, why I posted on it. The ten percent concentrate kind of like what the doctor put on my lesion after excising the crust with a scalpel. Keep in mind, iodine does stain, and some individuals could be allergic to iodine. Fresh and pure makes this concentrate. If you purchase the Iodine this way, can use to clean wounds, and if buy the vinegar and water disposable douches, when they are opened, can shoot some of the concentrate into and save you money.
