| I've begun a parasite cleanse yesterday. Black walnut hull tincture, cloves, wormwood. I found the black walnut hull is making my skin a furnace, and I looked yesterday like I fell asleep in the sun for 12 hours. The itchiness was unreal...wanted to tear off my skin. Then I got really cold and had to take a long hot bath. You can see the circulation in my extremities is affected. All the blood obviously was sent to the skin leaving the rest of my body cold. An aloe vera jel product really helped. It didn't take too long to return to normal but what a freak show. Does anyone know anything about any of this? I really don't think it's an allergic reaction, but for some reason I don't think so. I cut the tincture in half today and through process of elimination know for sure it is the tincture and not the other ingredients. I'm thinking if it is burning out to my skin, it may be doing a job on the critters, but just musing. I wouldn't mind........if I got a tan as a result ![]() Kritters |

| Well kritters, I have noticed when I treat the inside, and it is good, then attacks anywhere untreated like the skin. So when there is some die-off it gets nasty and fights back . Annoying, yes but Morgellons disease is helpful in the respect that it will tell you where weakest by attacking. I seperate the disease mentally: #1 internal, #2, external. This makes my treating the disease seem less daunting. Aloe gel and hemp lotion mint, and menthol all the disease hates. Pat said the hemp lotion is stinky , but a drop or two of peppermint oil in the lotion may remedy this. Aveeno baths with oatmeal can be soothing to irritated skin as well. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, check out the silver post I did, the fizzy bath bs with the colloidal silver, MSM, and something else I think the disease hates might be a nice change of pace, (LC). |

| Hi Kritters, According to Chinese herbal knowledge cloves treat the kidney, spleen and stomach meridians. Skin problems such as itching may indicate trapped water (sweat which probably comes from trapped lymph fluids) between the muscle and the skin. Cloves I think (though I am no expert) may be an herb which pushes heat out to the surface of the body. Cloves also effect the spleen. Itchiness generally indicates heat. It is caused by excess trapped damp heat. So when the cloves hit the spleen/stomach meridians most likely the warming action on these organs pushed out and may have created the feeling of intense warmth in your body's exterior. If damp heat was already present in this area the cloves may have exacerbated it. This is why correct herbal formula structure for the individual is so difficult, and why Western herbal formulations will help some people/conditions and not others. At the same time the formulas other herbs, wormseed and black walnut hull are cold and very bitter herbs. The black walnut hull effects the lower intestine which in turn effects the lung which controls the skin. The wormseed in turn effects the liver/gall bladder meridians. So it may be that these two very cold herbs are making the internal areas of the body too cold for you as an individual, which would make you feel cold after the effect of the other herb has worn off. Also the cooling of the intestine might make it hard for the colon to send the warm fluids up to the lungs which needs them to keep the skin moist. Without the necessary warm fluids coming up to the lung the cooling effect of wormseed and black walnut on the colon may have indirectly dried the lungs, leading to further drying in the skin layer and thus perhaps creating feelings of excess warmth and itchiness in the skin. It is all quite a complex picture according to TCM's view of how the body works. best, tcm

| Kritter, I don't have a lot of knowledge of medicine but I have taken wormwood (artimisinan), cloves and the black walnut now for 18 months. I started off with very low dosages. I think you were maybe a wee bit overenthusiastic and need to go more slowly. The wormwood is particularly strong and you only need a few drops and usually take five days on and five off. Dr Hulda Clarke provides information on these on the Net. Good luck, hannah |

| Hi everyone, and thanks for your feedback, Hannah...I followed directions on the bottle. Dr. Clark says to do that.I'm following her remedy but didn't want to state that since I don't want to add negative comments if someone would google her information and read what I said. She has enough of a headache. I thought 20-30 drops seemed a bit excessive of the walnut, but that's what it said on the bottle. You've been doing this for 18 months....do you still have parasites? TC, as I stated initially, I had isolated the walnut hull tincture as the problem. It was the only thing I took this morning, although 1/2 as much as yesterday and skin situation 1/2 as bad. And thanks for your information. It makes sense, but tomorrow I'll see how the wormwood itself effects me. I emailed Dr.Clark's people and was told by Cristina that the tincture should have a green tint, which mine does not. She said that's where the parasitic properties are. She said it could be an allergic reaction, which I'm sure it isn't. I mean, can't they explain things a tad better than guessing at troubleshooting at this point? Well, now I'm pissed, since nothing looked green to me and it wasn't mentioned in any of the literature I read. So now I'm out $100 for all three plus ornithine and arginine, which I have no need to use at this point and am finding out the three may not have to be used at the same time after all. She's saying I might have to eliminate it. Well, so then, are the other two a complete formula? See, this is what is the problem with alternative medicine. I was really psyched about this and believe in natural parasitic cleansing. there really needs to be more emphasis on detail and understanding how things work synergistically with each other. this is a very complicated science and has to be taken very seriously. I can't even think straight right now, I'm so pissed. Kritters |

| Hi Kritters, Understand your frustration, and it is quite possible really that a TCM practitioner worth his/her salt could make up a formula using these herbs tailored to your body symptoms (by adding other herbs to balance it out to help you) and it would not give you the adverse reactions you are currently experiencing. Everyone is so different, and symptoms differ. So what is good for one may not be for someone else. While I have a lot of respect for Western herbs the formulas often are not effective for everyone and this is why they do not always work. Often Western herbs are used like Western medicine drugs to treat a particular disease. And often in both those traditions they do not work for some people with that disease, because the patients' symptom pictures may differ. One person is hot or warm inside. Another is cold or cool. Some have a surface disease and others have a disease which has gone down into the body. There are degrees of this depth of illness as well. In the type of traditional Chinese medicine I have studied there are six levels of entry of illness into the body. Each level effects what herbs may be used. Other considerations for treatment include the pulse rate and depth and location. What temperature water is preferred when drinking fluids. Whether one is thirsty or not. If one has a regular b.m, urinates too much or too little, color of the urine, skin color, tongue coating and color of that coating and shape of tongue and more. All these special diagnostics help decide what formula and what herbs may help that patient regain balance in the body. Give the body the wrong herb and it will push disease farther down into illness. This was something I learned the hard way from personal experience after taking a Western herbal course and using the standard remedy for flu, echinaecia and goldenseal. That formula, used as the teacher instructed every hour at the first sign of illness, not only did not ward off the flu but rapidly made me get a very bad case of flu, because I was too cold inside even when well. When I was sick it was devastating to my system. These herbs rapidly lead to internal chills with external trapped fever. Both herbs are quite cold and might have been okay to use if they had been tailored to my body symptom pattern with other herbs. Something I did not know and neither did my Western herbal instructor. So I kept looking for an herbal system which made more sense to me. That was when I discovered traditional Chinese medicine. best, tcm

| The Black Walnut hull has to be fresh you have to make the tincture your self All the ingredients have to be fresh I used the store bought tincture for a year with no results... Last month went and found a black walnut tree picked some fresh hulls put them in a bowl with a fifth of 100 proof vodka and a Tb Spoon of Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) let it cure for 3 days strained with a coffee filter. it Really works and costs very little, but the herbs and Blk wallnut hulls have to be fresh!! if you are having trouble sleeping try the *L- Arginine (500mg per capsule) * L-Ornithine (500mg per capsule) Take 3 L-Ornithine capsules before you goto bed... |
