| Thanks tcm, I agree with you. I would like toknow more about chinese Treatment. Maybe you could pm or email me or post some helpful hints. the chinese have known for 5000 years how to help the body heal itself. supposedly in Western Herbals you muscle test each person to see what will work best for them. comments? | Nookie, Thanks for your post! Wow....I wouldn't even know where to look around here for a black walnut tree . I don't even know the difference between a black or white walnut either. I wonder if I can order by mail and if it's considered fresh once off the tree a few days? I'm glad it worked for you. No parasites? Fabulous!thanks again, Kritters |

| Hi Gator, I am not sure what I think about muscle testing since it has been known to be such an imprecise system. Much depends on the skills of the person doing it IMHO. Also results will vary among practitioners of the "art." I think human bias (both the patient and the practitioner) is involved in outcomes when doing muscle testing. There is some other testing which goes in this direction and is done with special equipment and the aid sometimes of a computer: http://www.meritest.com/eav.html I think this could be a more accurate test than muscle testing done by a person, but I still think this would just be one part of the diagnostic picture a good practitioner would make when treating a patient. Unsure about what you mean by hints about tcm--feel free to pm me with questions you may have. Will pm you a book title which may be a good starting place. best, tcm

| Agree Kitters most do not have access to very fresh green black walnut hulls. Some good companies which would actually make them from the fresh herbs are: Gaia herbs and Eclectic Institute herbs. Eclectic Institute herbs may be bought at a good discount on iherb. IMO they take some interest in their herbs' freshness prior to tincturing or extracting. I think that what one buys on the internet as bulk black walnut hulls is most likely too old to be considered really fresh. And many of us do not live in areas where such trees grow. I so far have found no fresh source of green black walnut hulls in my searches online. I think we would need contacts with herbalists who do smaller sales of fresh herbs online to locate a reliable source for them as a consumer plus we would need to buy them at the correct time of the year to obtain them in the green state. best, tcm
