Does anyone else have any experience with babies effected by Morgellons. I have a one-year old who a week after I had symptoms, also developed the same rash and bites. Now that I have begun treating myself and not eating any carbs/sugar - swallowing whole garlic cloves, etc., they are not biting me but my poor one year old baby. I externally treat her with the same products I am using. She can not talk yet and can not tell me what is happening. It is so sad that her young life is so marred by this evil. I do not want to get her sicker, so I try not to hold her at night, which is heartbreaking. Also, I am pregnant almost to my second trimester. Does anyone know if this affects the baby? I am limited to what I can take internally. Do you know what I can take? I take vit c and garlic.

Kendra! Oh, I'm so sorry about what's happening to your baby! And you're pregnant, too...Oh, how difficult this is for you and your family! I don't know anything about your situation; I'm just saddened my what you're going through. Still, have you checked the net about whether large amounts of vitamin C could affect pregnancy? I don't see how fresh garlic could hurt anything (lots of ethnic groups depend on the stuff), but it could affect some of your processes (like blood pressure, or whatever...garlic does thin blood, I think...). Lots of natural things are usable during pregnancy. You might want to consult a naturopathic doctor about what would be naturally helpful or possibly harmful during pregnancy. That might make a big difference for your one year old, as well as you and your new baby. Sorry I don't know more. Hang in there! You are very brave! Jan

kendra i am very sorry to hear this. yes, i have been a member and sick for only a year, but yes was a member in here with twin baby girls had it. i know it is possible for the newborrn to get it, but do know that the younger ones bounce back faster. this is a time when i really need bubba in here. (YES I MISS YOU BUBBA). if i recall for the younger ones a mild vingar and salt bath should be okay. they were talking about citric acid treatments for babies, but i cannot recall any details. (wait until i find out on both of those). now an aveeno bath is from oatmeal, very gentle might give the one year old some relief. aloe vera gel applied to problem areas of skin, aloe can help loosen the fibers. also tape, which sounds silly but helps to get stuff off of them. one of my children was exposed 11, but i sent her out of the environment for almost a year she has it on some level but it is slowed. (you do not have to worry about that, mine is very bad in some ways, and others not). the main thing can do for the one year old is this: no processed sugar let the child have fruit and stay away from junkfood and whitebread. both sugar and carbs aggravate disease feeds disease. stevia good safe sweetener to look into. the more complex carbs help the child to grow and feed them, not disease. vegtables sauteed in butter so as to be delicious be very good for young one. the little one might also like acorn squash cut in half baked on 450 for one hour. put honey, cinnamon and a little allspice or nutmeg put butter o it mashed up might like it tastes like pie. the next few days i shall dig and call on some sources please private message me soon we shall get a game plan going, (LC).
