Default Natural treatments related to my personal physical deficiencies

I am new to you folks, but you are not new to me! I've been getting great ideas from all of you for 6-8 months! My journey with this so fun problem manifested itself after I took a position working in other people's homes...I don't do that anymore. To the point, I think I have discovered what will be my (cure, resolution, healing) because the little whitish pore things (which have been in my tongue and gums the WHOLE time), and other "things" seem to be escaping/retreating more and more on their own! I'm also experiencing die-off, herx, at a rate I haven't seen since my first attack on yeast--approx. 6 years ago.
We all have our physical shortcomings...I know that I have a gluten intolerance: have for a few years. I was on gluten free diet when became morgellic! Didn't change diet until about March. Went on no grain, no starch (also no whatever I know I'm allergic/sensitive to), following book called, Breaking the Vicious Cycle, by Elaine Gottscall B.A., M.Sc.; also find basic diet at pecanbread.com. For me this made tremendous difference. I lost most of my fear of being around other people--nothing was visible, and when a place came up on me, it was small and would mostly heal with Neem, Bergamot, and/or Tea Tree. Lots of moisturizer too! (Stuff like citric acid, Emergen-C with sugarless club soda, lots of epsom salts, inside and out (rinsed mouth w/epsom salts, hydrogen peroxide, few drops each of peppermint, bergamot and teatree oils) and Neem toothpaste, many of these ideas came directly from you folks!)
Still didn't feel like I had mastered the thing. Finally I found a reference in a book on depression for something called 'pyroluria'. It's a type of porphoria (a kind of enzyme/blood deficiency). I had so many of the symptoms for this that I decided to follow the simple protocol. Mainly it is B vitamins in a mixed regular and coenzyme
formula, and a good mineral supplement with extra zinc on the side, to equal 100 milligrams of zinc per day. One can Google pyroluria and, I believe, find symptoms and protocol. The book I found it in is, The Mood Cure, by Julia Ross, M.A., specific pages:303-305 (and other related pages in body of book). There isn't any mention of overt strange skin problems, but I keep finding that 'rare' conditions are not nearly as rare as doctors (excuse me, any doctors, please) seem to think, and that they usually have a variety of side issues.
I have been following ALL of above for a few weeks now, and as I said, things are getting better everyday! I realize that everyone is a little different in their own chemistry and medical history, but since all of you have been such a help and inspiration to me, I wanted to share what brought me to a feeling of 'whew!,I may not let this get me!' OH! Almost forgot....I did also have a crown replace a huge mercury filling (had to be allergy tested for ingredients--severe food and chemical sensitivites) and have been taking cracked chlorella. Expense of crown was worst financial part of whole problem, but it helped too.
Thank you folks, again! I'll be checking back to see if anyone wants more info. I feel like part of the family here!
Jan

Hello, LadyColorado! Didn't imagine I'd be talking to you tonight. It's an honor. I'm afraid I didn't make myself clear--not Earl Grey (I like that stuff too) , I meant tea tree oil. That was just one of several essential oils that have come in handy. it's mostly the coenzyme B vitamins, with an emphasis on B6, and zinc. The thing is, I read on the net--somewhere--that one gastrointerologist believes that about 35% of population have celiac disease or gluten intolerance. Most won't say that...It's potentially harmful to the economy, I guess. The pyruloria is what really got me. Most of us with this thing are fair or pale, many have insomnia, lots of headaches; i wonder how many have tendency toward eczema, acne or psoriasis...sunlight bother you? tendency toward nausea in morning (not related to any other condition)? poor appetite or sense of taste or smell? I know, LadyColorado that you were diagnosed with the clymidia(sp-?) pneumonia. I've wondered about that in my case--never got to check it out. What I'm hoping is that my immune system has been so out of whack for so long, that these new protocols will fill some gaps, and push whatever disease system right on out! At least enough to get me back on my feet and working again.
It's really good to talk to you!

Hello Carla and LadyColorado! I was chicken to post for a long time, Best to wait till you have something to say, anyway, I guess. Hope you start feeling much better soon Ladycolorado! It sounds like you need your meds. Carla, thank you for the warm welcome, also. The one problem I still have (and have had since I can remember) is the insomnia! I don't know if it might get better after I get rid of some mercury (with the cracked chlorella--from the extraction of the large mercury filling), but this is too hard at my age. I try not to take sleeping pills, because Dr.s don't like to prescribe things I can take (Flurazepam). Natural stuff only goes so far...I wonder if I wouldn't just get well if I could crack this last difficulty!

Hi Jan,
I'd like to warmly welcome you also!

I am in the process of undergoing a series of H2o2 intravenous treatments. I had my first last week which also included heavy doses of vitamins in the second solution and chelation within the first H202 bag. sent the urine sample to show how much metal was eliminated. when tested hair sample, it showed off the charts... almost off the page.... of mercury. I know it's from fish...salmon, tuna (esp) I've eaten whole life, which is cumulative. Next week I have another IV and also colon cleanse, which I am really looking forward to (not) but definitely want it done.

Just to let you know, for the first time in about a year, and I'm not exaggerating, I feel alert and energetic. Still have a tad brain fog, but think from what I've had my whole life (duh uhhh) and not from critters or mercury. I don't need a nap in the afternoon and my eyes popped open around 5 am and I couldn't get back to sleep if I tried.

I can only attribute this to the iv.

I'll keep you all posted with findings if anyone wants.

I'm psyched.

again, welcome.
Kritters

Thank you, kritters, for another warm welcome! I hope all goes well with your IV's! Sounds like it's doing some real good. As someone else said, make sure to take care of your veins...maybe some grapeseed extract would help. Do you do omega 3 fatty acids? They might help too. It's good to talk to you guys!
Ladycolorado! I just now got your reference to the Earl Grey: that IT has bergamot oil in it! (duh). I can't handle caffeine so I don't get to drink fun stuff anymore--maybe later...Hope you start feeling better very soon.

yeah, Jan...do omega 3 from SALMON which probably could be indicted in this whole thing in the first place . I'm not going to give it up...just cook the 'life' out of it.

I use the other sources as well, including walnuts. Some times ya feel like a nut....sometimes ya don't.

Hey kritts (and welcome Jan) - thought I would post something that might be helpful. I tried the fish oil but couldn't stand the aftertaste (something's wrong with tasting fish all day when you haven't eaten any). As part of all my reseach on nutrition I ran across some information that flaxseed oil is mostly Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. You need more Omega 3 than 6 but the body also needs omega 9 fatty acids as well. Some of the "better" fish oils have all 3 fatty acids and also contain Eicosapentaenoic Acid (which is also known as (and more easily spelled) as EPA) and Docosohexaenoic Acid (DHA) that are a natural part of fish oil which are supposed to be beneficial as well. I read some chemistry articles that discussed the fact that the human body can make Omega 9 fatty acid, EPA and DHA out of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids (which the flaxseed oil contains). Most of the B vitamins are required to initiate this chemical reaction to transform some of the Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids into the others in the human body (the fish already made it in their bodies). Since I hated the fish oil so badly I started taking flaxseed oil instead along with a high quality multivitamin that has plenty of the B vitamins. Based on the known chemistry, I'm pretty sure that I get all the benefits of the fish oil without having to taste fish all day. Just thought it might be worth mentioning for anyone else that doesn't like tasting fish when they haven't eaten any. The flaxseed oil has no "aftertaste" at all for me - and as an added bonus (for me at least) it's cheaper than the fish oil (I guess squeezin oil out of flaxseeds is easier that squeezin it out of fish - the flaxseeds probably don't flop around as much).
