Default a practical treament for the sores with immediate results

I use91% isopropyl alcohol. Basically, when i encounter an "active" lesion (usually sore and a bit tougher than a normal scab - little smoother too...) i pick off the "scab" or whatever it is. This isn't always so simple. Swiss army knife scissors are a useful tool. sometimes its easy, sometimes it's a lotta, "aahhhs!", "fu_ks!" and "owes!" Cover removed, i'm faced with the white nubs. pending my mood i'll pluck em all, or some, or whatever. Oh yeah, as the cover scab was removed, profuse bleeding begins. This can make plucking a little tricky. it's important to remove all of the scabish material from the lesion's edge.I take a cap (perhaps the one from the alcohol bottle) and fill it with alcohol. I dab the lesion dry with a paper towel and cover the lesion with the cap of alcohol, being careful to lose a s little alcohol as possible... i hold it over the lesion (in effect now submerged) for a minimum of 30 seconds and have left it on as long as an hour+. Shoot. gotta run. finish this in about an hour....

or a day... so if the lesion actually is active, holding the alcohol on it will burn like a m----- f-----! However, the burning subsides shortly thereafter. So what happens? well an active sore will spew a black, very fibrous substance along with the blood. the longer you hold it on the sore, the more stuff comes out. i keep doing it over and over until no more black stuff comes out. When i wait a long time on a large, very active sore, when i remove the cap it ill be practically FULL of the stuff. Nasty. find verbal.kint on livevideo.com my only vid is "my magic trick". it shows kinda what im talkin about. if you continue to hold the alcohol longer - beyond the black stuff stopping, interestingly, it's replaces by similar looking transparent/white stuff. anyone know what that might be? not nearly as much comes out. then ... nothing comes and the lesion will heal and go away. But, if you dont clear out ALL the stuff, it will become infected again eventually.

I have no doubt any longer that the black stuff is fungus.

there is a fungal agent involved i disease and is in the biofilm which makes us itch and crawl. i too have used 91 percent rubbing alcohol, although currently usin a product with citric acid in it and the lesions clearing up at catheter site. the fake scab like you say must be removed to get at the organisms inside. there are vearious things i have found helpful in lesion healing thanks for the post, (LC).
