| well, i have been thinking very hard about our hair becoming dry. i have also been thinkig about my uk buds. scalp issues have been arising lately. the folks in the uk have no palmolive oxy dishsoap. well, i did a seach on oxygenated shampoo, and came across a shampoo called folliderm. it seems to have good ingredients like grapseed oil for one and other botanicaqls as well supposed to be oxygenated. however, i am not sure about this product i found it but know nil about its effectiveness. any of those who try it please post results. would be very nice to have a shamppo makes ones hair less like straw. selsum blue is good, some say head and shoulders helps and others have posted on antifungal shampoos. i shall have to look that up too, maybye. here is link for uk for folliderm: http://www.all-ages-vitamins.co.uk/l...ult.asp?id=977 . here is one for usa folliderm: http://www.luckyvitamin.com/097467060326.html . read the uk one tells all ingredients. i do not if good product or a bad one, but something some may wish to try. i found a website uk here is link look up tisserand lavender conditioning shampoo with mint link to site to search on is : http:www.escentual.com.co.uk . (cannot get this link to work) can search for tisserand lavendar shampoo . american crew makes a men's shampoo on mensessentials.com called american crew citrus mint active shampoo. i apologize try to post links for those but would not work when checked.post what shampoos you have found helpful as well, results of trying these, etc. (LC). p.s the first two links do work for folliderm. |

| Hey all-I have also bought vo-5 lavendar shampoo-also contains citric as well as the new ivory-lavendar scented bar soap. Sometimes alternate with the drying shampoos and use the soap on my face. |

| yeah that makes sense what you have posted. the reason why i thought these shampoos are good is because the ones i looked at either had essential oils, or were oxygenated. my motto is K.I.S.S., i.e keep it simple silly (talking of myself) the more basic something is the better it seems to work against disease. saw someone post on another topic they thought things like peroxide and epsom salt ot natural, nonsense they are very basic. hydrogen peroxide is just that :hydrogen and peroxide a vfery basic compound . epsom salts are a simple salt with sulphur in it and the suggestio bubba made about that bath in the treatment steps is a good one. she had a good doc who was helpig her when really sick, and she had such bad lesions. these two products are ols time pharmacy or apothecary items, instead of the new fangled and diluted products for the skin which do little or nothing. ecovie is beneficial bacteria and enzymes one of the most basic elements of biology: this is why it works so well. green aqd black cumin i foud through research was a medicne for ancient peoples, king tutankamen's tomb had mcuh black cumin as it was a highly prized medicine back then. dsp is plant extracts with enzymes, simple why many like it. papaya has enzymes beneficial to healing the skin and scars, and good for internal purification as well. collidal silver, used wisely having a good product (not nutrasilver junk) can be helpful for lesions and iternal use done carefully. sulphur is a very basic element can be good in creams or ointments. many do not know that sulpha drugs were the predecessors of antibiotics, and once it was a regular practice to put silver nitrate drops in infants eyes to ward off infection. it is good to have many tools in ones arrsenal to fight disease as it adapts. vinegar is good too, and simple lemon juice. garlic is an excellent internal purifier as it is anti-parasitic, antimicrobal, antifungal. you take too much of an antifungal medicine it can hurt your liver or kidneys it can be dangerous, but garlic is a much better option (there is a fungal aspect to the disease). essetial oils, like lavendar rosemary citrus grapeseed teatree (antiseptic and antifungal properties) can be helpful. the main thing to remember is you may have to swich up on occasion on what you fight disease with, but throwing six to seven things on it is wasteful and conterproductive. our immune systems are so low, the idea is bolsterig our health back up. so the idea of occasionally using a shampoo which nutures our hair in between a drying shampoo or treament is a most refreshing idea (LC). |

| Have you tried J&J Baby Shampoo? I saw this on the New Morgellons Order website. Though I was skeptical that anything so mild could help, I bought a bottle. It does Wonders for the itching sensation and seems to help stabilize the ugly granulues. As I learned more about the active ingriedients, it makes sense: Many of the active conponents contain sodium. This is outstanding for mast cell stabilization. Also good for those annoying leafminer things and objects that we eat that seem to wander up through the lymph glands, and helps to debride the scale. Actually it seems like this works the best for stabilizing the itching. I alternate between the Johnson & Johnson, Selsun Blue with Menthol, and prescription strength Nizoral. For ages I thought this was a fungus; I still haven't dismissed this as being a conponent. However, my derm told me I should use prescription strength Loprox because it had the best antifungal action. Loprox or Loprax did not help at all. (Nor did a two month loading dose of oral Itraconazole). There was an article from a British paper metioning Morgellons being a zoonotic "oomercyst" mildew infection. Who knows? Just noticed it seems really resistant to many pharmaceutical grade antifungals. That said, most of the drugs on the market seem designed to handle tinea based infections. Seems like whatever this is ,we know responds to nitrogen(nitrates), calcium channel blockers(menthol), citric acid(disolves the caluses/stones), sodium. Can't wait to we find out once and for all. |

| Ev Good post Not sure what a zoonotic "oomercyst" mildew infection is. That is a new one on me. My experience is that the stuff under the skin did finally start dieing off with the 3rd month of anti-fungals. I was on grisiofulvin and lamisil. I have continued to use lamasil and clotrimazole and it really does seem to help. It has been a slooooowwww process though. I also think the cat's claw along with the yogurt and acidophilis and just building the immune system has been integral. I have been reading and realized that not only are the B vitamins beneficial for "stress", but Vit C in LARGE amounts is also sometimes needed. I guess that makes sense as to why the Vit C and salt protocol seems to work. The more I read the more I am a believer in GOOD salt and supplementing. I am just not convinced that I can provide what my body seems to need with food. I have started adding iron because my blood test showed low and I was also told I was on the low end for B 12. Maybe it is a placebo effect, but I do feel like it is helping. I have tried to cut out the "culprit" foods, but boy do I miss milk and bread and chocolate!!!! What is summer without ice cream!!! I'm a born and raised midwesterner and summer means county fairs, BBQ's, corn on the cob, fried green tomatoes, potato salad, ice cream and all that good stuff you skip in the winter! Last week was the fair -I cheated and had a corn dog!!! I have powdered citric acid from Gene, but have had a hard time figuring out exactly what to do with it. Thanks for the J&J tip- something new to add to the arsenal! Linda

there was a post on here sometime back about a researcher in Norway? Denmark? recommending mixing 1 tsp of citric acid in 300 ml (just more than 1 C) of warm water with 1 tsp of shampoo & scrubbing down with it in the shower. Stand for 2 minutes, then rinse. I have been rotating this in with the other things (ie soaks, Selsun Blue, Nizoral) and it really feels good. I find I need a double "batch" for each shower. My skin feels really good when I'm finished. Just be really careful when you pour it over your hair not to get it in your eyes! I do my head last just to make sure I an keep it tilted back while I'm letting it soak in. Also, you can use it to soak clothes in wash (I think it's in the treatment steps). HOWEVER, I have ruined 2 washing machines now b/c they rust out when I do this. SOOO...Now if I've been really itchy, I add 1-2 tsps to the wash when I wash sheets & towels. Shout out to Lady C - thanks for the good shampoo find! Glad to hear you're doing well. Blessings, JCnMe PS - I'm also a born & raised midwesterner & I just can't seem to give up that ice cream either, linda! |

| jcnme, my theory was a higher ingredient ratio of eseential oils would be good for the scalp, ad some oils are good antiparisitical, lavendar, rosemary, mint, and citrus. oxygenation is another thing disease does not like i do agree that there is a fungal aspect to disease as well. i do think this shamppo unclear has found has potetial safe for pets too http://www.oxyfresh.com/bbeck/ . this is what we shall do: good posting o works, for those who try the shampoos unproven, please post your findings, keep in mind what works for one, may not for another, and treatments should be alternated, as the disease adapts. thanks, (LC). |
