Having second thoughts about my practitioner

I'm now having second thoughts about my health care practitioner, after having to wait 5 days for an antibiotic refill and a resulting relapse of symptoms. I admit that I made some mistakes in this too, but isn't simply calling in a refill to a pharmacy standard doctors office proceedure, or am I mistaken?

I also travel to SF, while I am much closer to LA. My health care practitioner also travels from out of state to practice in SF (an added cost), so now I am wondering if this is the best use of my money since I have no insurance.

Has anyone had experiences with docs in the LA area that I can PM them about -- Dr. K or Dr. S?

I have a good one for you. The doc that put me on the anti-parasitics, the Lyme disease specialist whom I saw one time, the one who had a couple other morg patients and the one that I gave out his name and number to a few people, closed his office nearby, opened another office two and a half hours away choose not to notify me of this by phone or mail, and will not return my calls.
There's a little fuel for the conspiracy theorists. Makes you wonder.

Too bad this comes up with docs that work with morgs, after talking to one yesterday, I realize I may not have it so bad. I think I was also having quite a PMS day.
