Lemon/Lime Vitamin Water

Question for y'all...

I recently started drinking a flavored vitamin water (Glaceau brand) to keep myself hydrated. It comes in a dozen different flavors and tonight I was drinking the Lemon/Lime version -- after reading the ingredients, I saw citric acid in there (duh, it's a lemon drink). Anyway, here's what I was wondering -- we all know these critters hate lemons and citric acid so we use these ingredients topically and in our wash.

Do you think ingesting citric acid through drinks like this -- or even good old lemonade -- could help kill off these critters?

I think that is a great idea. It could only help. The vitamin C will be good for ya and citrus (lemon and lime) are alkalizing which is suppose to assist the body in fighting off fungus, virus and bacteria...Linda

Mary that is a good observation there. It cant hurt and you never know, Every little bit helps. Anything with a acid base seems to be helping people.

clean your whole house with cosentrated borox for general all over cleaning, use in all your house drains, in every drain in the bathroom, scrub everything with borox except you. use it in your laundry.. and when drying use a few extra dryer sheets on the filter part to catch the little devils that get by. vasoline works good on the sores, and go back to alot of the things grandma used to use... and always,i mean always drik coca-cola!!! this was used as a cure all once and i remember once when i used to drink it before all my problems i was pretty good.. maybe even get you hands on coke syrup. yes folks its back to "" to old school" remember once what this country was founded on buy american keep america working.. pride in your work?? remember those days?? everyone keeps selling out of the old buck how much can i save if i send this job here or there.. guess what the auto industry in usa is almost wiped out. alot of jobs are going to the service industry.. this doesn't relate.. but things for our ancestors especially in the 50's was the best time for this country after the war.. but with this and that everyone forgot what was important "our products made here sold here" and bought from other countrys was the best.unions were #1 and everyone was proud.. i know alot of the old stuff can't be found anymore but most of it can.. and i don't know if these things i found will work forever but for now they will.. i hope someone can get use out of this.. as i did..thanks

Hi Friski,
Whenever we were congested in my family it seemed the soda cut through it. I always thought of it like draino. Not good for the pipes on a regular basis but when clogged works great. I try to avoid sugar but I feel the sugar substitutes are worse.
