Default Sharing MD medication treatment protocols

Hello! I would like to hear about the various medication protocols that have been used by folks prescribed by doctors. I have found that this is regularly discussed on Lyme forums, but I'm not sure if Lyme protocols are just as effective for Morgellons. Please share your experiences so that others might learn from past successes/failures. I just started bicillin injections and am not sure what to expect. I have heard that it is necessary to continually "mix things" up a bit, as Morgellons is very adaptive. Appreciate any input.

What drugs were used (antibiotics, antifungals, antiparasitics)?
For how long?
Did the treatment provide relief?
How so and for how long?
Any side effects, such as herxing, increased breakouts, etc.?

Hi everyone..... I am having great difficulty getting any of the meds prescribed for me over here in the UK They are horrified and just won't or are not allowed to give them !!!!! Does anyone know of a cheap (or any) online pharmacy that would send me anti-biotics ??? I would be able to get them from SF pharmacy but they are a bit pricey and it would be great if I could get them cheaper if anyone knows anywhere. Thanks a million... Hilly

Lisa,
If you are going to take the wormwood, also take black walnut and clove. The combo is a complete parasite killer. You need all to eradicate eggs to adult stages.

Dear Arlee please stay way from respiridone or respiradol. They are shocking drugs they made a guinea pig out of me after I took the overdose. Here In New Zealand if you attempt suicide you are automatically put into the physc ward. Which was terrible, horrible!!!!!!!!! They tried all sorts of things on me and Dear Lord I was like a zombie!!!!! I couldn't even carry a cauliflower home and kept going to sleep at work They tried other stuff which I cann't remember or cann't spell. They sent me to a nuerologist the best in Auckland hospital. He spent 10 minuites with me asked me to do a few things asked what medication I was on and then he said "Thats it" The medication.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They even had the crisis team coming around every evening standing over me while they made me take these horrendous tablets. I called them the mind police. Once the pyschiatrist got the report from the nuerologist Mr Snow they stopped all that medication!!!!!!!!!! and I am just taking an anti-depressant Amitriptyline 150mg at night. They do help me sleep but I don't have any side effects from them. They even gave me a cat scan!!!!!!! Nothing wrong there Before you take any medication please look it up on the internet and look for the side affect. I don't mean essential medication like thyroxine or diabetes medication. I mean physchiatric drugs!!!!! Sorry I never can spell that right. Very best wishes. Roberta.

Okay, I may be throwing a wrench into all of this, so please don't take offense to this post. I hope and pray you can hear my heart and concern.

When I first saw a physician who treats Morgellons, I was so excited to have a treatment plan that worked for me, that I was sharing this protocol through private email with anyone who asked me for it. I feel this was very unwise on my part and dangerous. I had no idea who was asking for this protocol, nor did I know exactly what medical problems they were dealing with.

It's not that I don't want to help anyone, but I realized that the Rx protocol I've been on was prescribed according to my symptoms and the results of my lab work. I came to the conclusion that I was not helping anyone and possibly doing more harm by just handing out my protocol. I feel it is risky to use most online pharmacies. I also believe to place yourself on any kind of Rx protocol without being monitored by a physician is equally risky as well. The protocol I'm on requires monthly blood tests to make sure my kidneys and liver are not stressed. Please consider: Do you have a physician who will be willing to monitor your progress?

I made a decision to direct those who are asking for the protocol to bubba's site if they need a doctor who treats Morgellons and/or Lyme Disease.

Feel free to send me a private email if you have any questions. I wish you all well and much success in your healing journey.
