Morgellons Treatment

No baloney here or speculation. I'm new to any web-site & I'm not in the medical field and I will explain to the best of my knowledge. Let's keep our heads up. Please don't pick at my terminology. This is a partial list of some things I have found to help me get back to normal (as normal as I can be):
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. WHY?~the body has 3X more lymph fluid than blood. The lymphatic system plays a vital role in the body's immunity to disease by continuously bathing our cells and carrying away the body's sewage (toxins, waste products of metabolism, globules of fat, excess liquid). However, while blood has a pump -the heart - to keep it moving, lymph must be pumped by the movement of our muscles. The less we move, the more stagnant the lymph system becomes. RESULT~by opening up these pathways & squeezing the fluid through the lymph nodes (filters) the toxins in my body are leaving. I'm feeling stronger, & am not puffy (neck, armpits, clavicle, behind knees and on & on&) like before.
This is still on the subject of healing as far as I am concerned-my therapist is also a Reiki Master if anyone has comments on that path...

Liquid Balsamea Extract. I found a chiropractor who practices kineseology. He tested me for lymes & found I tested positive, even tho we don't have the tick disease here in New Mexico where I live. The extract is herbal and is a natural antibiotic that among other things, helps kill the Lyme virus.

Laser light therapy for Lyme's. It stimulates the mitochondrial growth which produces oxygen in the cell (I think) so that my cells are becoming stronger and more active.

Gene. Gene turned me on to this site & DSP & Ecovie, which work!

Hi Jonsi! Welcome to the site. Have had lymphatic drainage massages as well and couldn't agree with you more. (Shiatsu massages are great too.) I'm also having great success with an alternative treatment -- Ayurvedic herbal meds. Still having some herxing but the vast majority of my symptoms are gone.

So great to hear there are lots of successful options. Thanks for the great info.


P.S. I'm a big fan of Reiki, too (I'm a Reiki Level 2) but haven't had it recently -- unfortunately my Reiki person was afraid I might be contagious. I've been doing Reiki on myself all along ... but miss going to a practitioner.

Mary, Yes, i think we are a bit of kindred spirits! Both my sister and i are reiki level 1. I have not been good about practicing though and have not had any treatments lately.
I am not familiar with the Lymphatic drainage, but am convinced that all of this stuff plays a part in our wellbeing.
Amazing how many of us have sought alternative health care!

I was turned away by 9 doctors -- and not because they thought I was delusional. They told me they knew something was wrong with me but said they wouldn't treat me because Morgellons wasn't in a medical book!

Thank God for alternative health care! (Sorry, guess I'm still a bit angry about this ...)
