Default random parasite question

Hi,
I am not sure if anyone knows the answer or even where I could appropriately ask this (btw today was a terrible M day, I thought I was getting better w/ alfalfa baths and internal tansy and i have gotten so sick and itchy w/ huge bite welt on the face then the jaw line rash)
if you take herbal anti-parasites does that just push the worms into your body? Does msm just work on intestinal parasites or body parasites? Is there a name for body/blood/liver parasites?
I was reading this post FLUKE DRUG PROTOCOL: Praziquantel & Albendazole at Parasites: Drugs Support Forum (MessageID: 1667673)

and it freaked me out. since i just started an herbal antiparaiste/yeast thing and am shaking/teeth chattering etc. plus super itchy all over.
any thoughts on the validity of any of things is greatly appreciated!!

Its hard to say for certain, but some say it gets worse before it gets better. How are you feeling now?

You may be herxing too quickly. You can try reducing the amount of what you are taking to see if that helps. Or go down to taking nothing if you feel very bad. It is not good to take too many products at once especially if lyme is involved in your symptom picture. Have you ever had any testing to find out what your infections might be? Drink some water to help flush out the toxins which no doubt you are releasing too quickly into your body. Green tea may help (just keep reusing the tea bag to make additional cups until there is no more color to the water to limit the amount of caffeine you ingest daily--then replace with a new one and do the same). I like to take some EmergenC (not excessively) in cranberry juice when I feel bad. Benadryl before bed may help you get rid of what your body is dumping. My ID doc said to use that to help the body release what he called debris. It works well for me. He said it is one of the safer meds to take. Just at night is enough to afford relief and wake up feeling normal again.

Do all antihistamines do this, or just benadryl? I take atarax at night to help with itching.

Default thanks for all the insights!

thanks everyone.
i read somewhere that bendryl helps with worm dessication (sp?)- drying them up. I ended up doing exactly that.
Ive been having luck w/ molkolsan on skin (lacto-fermetned whey).

I stopped that treatment. I decided 10gm of msm...read somewhere doing 10 grams of that for 2 wks, after 8 days parsites die...plus enzymes. if the fibers are contagious then I screwed. Id be so miserable if my fam. get this.

Benadryl sedates parasites rather than kills them. Here's a site which gives a rundown about using the drug before treating with anthlemintics:

Diphenhydramine as aid for anthelmintic medications

Anthelmintic drugs like pyrantel pamoate works by paralyzing the parasitic worms commonly roundworms and pinworms, but for precaution and for severe or mixed infestations, physicians prescribe diphenhydramine before indicating a de-worming drug. Diphenhydramine is taken for two days before the administration of a de-worming drug. This is to sedate the parasitic worms.

In children from two to twelve years of age, diphenhydramine with the strength of 12.5 mg per 5ml is given 1 tsp (5ml) to 2 tsp (10ml) three times a day for two days. In adults, the usual dose is 25mg capsule three times a day for two days, same with the dosage regimen of the child. After the final dose of diphenhydramine, a single dose of a de-worming drug as mebendazole or pyrantel can be given at night before bedtime.

Important:

The dosage regimen concerning treating worm infestations vary. Doctors have different approach with this matter and while anthelmintic drugs are readily available as OTC, it is still essential to consult a health professional before engaging into de-worming, especially with serious worm invasions.

More discussion about worming and the reaction of parasites to worming is also discussed in the article which can be found here:
