Any one else notice a increase in bites the last week or so

Trying to figure out if it is a seasonal thing with the bites. Down here in south Florida we had a lot of rain lately.

Just in case it is mites...this lady sprays vodka and a little eucalyptus oil around and she said it works. She said vodka alone works as well. I may try this, I have a bottle of cheap vodka on hand.
I will let ya know, I may just have a bunch of "partying like rock star" mites after this...lol

Do either one or both of you live near the ocean? I would love to soak in free salt water after using so many containers of it at home.Soaking in the ocean in my opinion would be fantastic!

Yes, I live very close to the ocean. I use to go and put my morg arms in the salt water, it doesn't hurt as bad as taking salt baths ( for me)

Iam heading for the ocean monday so will let you all know if my biting is less. It seems too me lately I have had a rash of things. maybe this is there swarming time. My eye is better today after putting salt on it all night. sammy

So I used the vodka in a large spray bottle and added a few drops of cedar wood ( that's the oil I had on hand). I sprayed my celing, base board, around windows, walls , floors and just into the air. I will let you know if it helps.

I suggest drinking the vodka,saving the cedar oil, and purchasing some pine-sol to do the job.

I would say it only irritated the suckers, I followed with the pine sol as scabdragr suggested and they seemed to have disappeared. Just in time too, because they were getting in my ears.
It rained again this morning, so I will follow through with it again today, to stay on top of the situation. Thanks, janice
