The anatomy of my lesions.... Speculations..... The psuedomembrane, the non-healing, follows blood vessel penetration, heals with scarring, and is toxin related. I have had several blood vessels break for no reason on my knuckles. I have posted over on Lymenet about this, with some experiencing the same thing. I also notice a similar pain, when a lesion elsewhere will suddenly pop up. Sometime ago, on several of the forums, livedo reticularis was mentioned, the mottling of the skin. I believe this is a valid observation, and L. reticularis can be associated with blood infections. And it results in vasoconstriction of the capillaries near the skin. Infection in the blood, or infective organisms using the blood to travel, then find weaker points in these capillaries, and punch through. This causes a reaction of deposition of fibronectin, or one of the blood clotting agents, and one we see in our blood slides quite often, as the black rivers through the blood. Due to the blood clotting by fibronectin, basically what happens in the skin, is the blood supply is then effectively cut off, for the later stages of skin healing to take place in which then restablish the blood supply. But this process is interrupted, and I believe it is due to the infective organism and the toxins it uses for virulence and resistence and its effects on endothelial NO. This allows it to extend into the dermis and remain for quite sometime. The toxins it emits, keeps the normal healing process from taking place, and is also used to fool our own immune system. And since the body's immune functions cannot get at the site, because it has been effectively cut off from the blood supply, the body then proceeds to wall it off, not unlike a cyst, similar, but more like an eschar or ecthyma. The toxins are what is related to the immune reaction. And the induction and suppression of cytokines. In the reaction of the lesion I have described above, its the Ca+/ Calmodulin channels in which are disprupted which leads to a disruption of GTP, by too much GTPase, and then leads to a decrease in EF-2 (elongation factor-2). This allows the lesion to stay in place for quite sometime. If you trace the GTP and its functions, you will see the relation to methylation, the G and C proteins, L-glutamate, cGMP, and cAMP. It is here in which the healing process is interupted and cannot progress. Frito

All good. Is it possible that those who do not have observable lesions, eg epidermis, might have them elsewhere, for example in the bowels, abdominal cavity or respiratory tract? and also: black rivers.... is this possibly what are the shooting black fibers seen to emerge from the black specks? And lastly, 'infectious organism'. So, you are thinking that not simply metabolic, but also possibly involving an organism that causes illness, yes? Any theory about which was first? metabolic causing susceptibility? Or infection causing metabolic? But all good, and thanks. Hope you are having a slow down from work... and taking good care, Frito.

Prior to starting methylation, I suffered from pretty moderate MCS, or multiple chemical sensitivity. Pretty much means your body is full of toxins it cannot get rid of, and any similar chemical with a similar makeup to the one or ones, you are currently reacting to, will also induce further reaction or sensitivity. Viscous cycle. As far as this discussion and its relation to lesions, one of the best things I have ever used on my skin daily, is EDTA soap. Just an FYI addition.... Frito

ok, so the last query was addressed by your post script: systemic infection does sometimes lead to issues with metabolism, such as in some parasite infections etc. Still need Mr Darrah, need a pcr done on this, and then we would have so many answers. Tempted to start a dollar drive to contribute to his research. Seriously.

Thanks for the info Frito... this explains the blood vessels breaking on my fingers as well. I will mention this to my doctor who discovered that I have a blood parasite. Interestingly and semi-related to a previous post by Skylark, the blood vessels stopped bursting when I stopped taking all NSAIDS.

How nice to see your coming along with your search for an answer. I talked with a fellow the other day that the mear smell of purfume or makeup will turn his skin black. He is a Vietnam Vet his story makes Morgellons sound like a simple cold. When I heard his story I actually thought about what your doing, maybe it could help him. You know what I think about Viet Nam and AGENT ORANGE, I think the chemical may have furthered this situation but the soldiers already had a biological agent inside them.

Thanks so much Frito. I am seriously Multiple Chemically Sensitive and want so much to understand how to get the pathways open. I guess I need step by step instructions to do methylation. I get so many exposures that concentrating and acting on something is quite difficult most of the time. Just making a trip to any store for needs makes me very ill. I usually wear masks and take an oxygen tank which I have had to use many, many times. All this medical exposure has really brought my body down. I am experiencing severe reactions to the meds and the stents. Most all doctors offices make me sick. So much so that some medical treatment can't be done because I can't tolerate their candles, potpouurie,? incense burning or chemicals for the medical tools. The meds given me all have red and/or yellow dye in them and the stents in heart and kidney are an alloy containing nickel. The metal part could possibly have been eliminated by using titanium stents but the doctor did not give me a chance to discuss this as I was in an emergency situation with the heart attack. The meds cannot be made dye free as the compound shoppee cannot get the powders as none are generic. So, as usual I am back to taking charge of my situation and making the changes I can and hopefully be able to detox what makes me sick. My husband was an Air Force veteran and I am sure this other Lymes/Morgellons crude came from him.He has passsed on now. He was always sick, but didn't complain. He just took aspirin even though I kept sayng aspirin is not a good thing. It seemed whenever he drank a lot, he felt better. So Strange. As I have learned from this forum, I now know he had mycoplasm ,clamydia pneumonia, morgs and only God knows what else. He had constant diarrhea that nothing seemed to help so maybe he had parasites and a systmeic fungus as well. Now that I think of it, one brother Army Vet came home very sick and died from cerebral hemmorage, one brother Navy Vet came home sick, and drank all the time. He died from a blood fungus disease no one could explain after several strokes. One brother Viet Nam Marine Vet is very sick, but does not want to hear anything I have to say, He is severe diabetic now. He learned from other vets that the water at Camp Lejune, NC was toxic and poison. His wife is sick and his son who was born there are both sick now, but have no diagnosis. Frito, I wonder if some detox and methylation would help them. I get angry when I think of all the government has done to our vets and the rest of us and we are left to either be called delusional and/or treating ourselves. I do believe you have found an answer, now if we can get around the critters with it all, it would be fantabulous.

I have provided several tools for one to begin to learn about methylation. I have even walked through my own experiences if perhaps someone might find them helpful. But I cant tell you with what to do step by step, except for what I have already done here. I wish I could. Frito |
