| I have a theory and wanted to know what you all think. We have all talked about where M might originate in our bodies or "reside". The logical thing would be our intestines so we concentrate on internal treatment of this organ with foods and supplements as well as external treatment of our skin. But, what if it's our lungs? I am thinking this because within the past few months, I have been having serious throat issues which is a large symptom of M. I have been to the ER because of the choking sensation and was given IV fluids, medication and oxygen. I felt better for a few days with a temporary relief of the throat fullness and choking and thought it was the fluids or medication. Then, I recently had an endoscope. The Gastro saw irritation in my esophagus but the biopsy was normal. No medication was given but I was on oxygen during the procedure. After the endoscope, I felt really good for about a week (almost completely normal) and then the fullness in the throat came back along with my other symptoms. What if M originates in our lungs which then goes to our blood stream causing the skin and other issues and the oxygen slowed it down? Has anyone else experienced this with oxygen use? Is there a way to get oxygen therapy somewhere? Can you buy oxygen online? I would like to test this theory... any ideas? Last edited by MeaganM; July 24th, 2011 at 11:10 PM. |

| For myself, when I did the anti parasitic treatment, my lungs were the first to improve. My breathing improved substantially . It is still much much improved. I think the lungs are very much involved with morgellons. Although, I can't recommend the anti parasitic treatment for every one as it is very hard on the body, but I will give you the homeopathic ingredients list if you like and you can do your research on specific items for the lungs. | Megan, Our lungs and nasal passages are very much involved. i too have been struggling with the coughing and breathing issues that led too bronchitis coughing up a lot of phlem. eyes have gook also. so I think this could possibly be in bronchial tubes also. my lung exray was clear as all of my tests with this stuff are zappo nothing its like it hides where no one can detect this sammy |

| YES I THINK IT STARTS OFF IN THE LUNGS, WELL IN MY CASE ANYWAY, I COUGHED & BROUGHT UP SO MUCH MUCAS, & IT WAS LONG STRINGS WITH TINY BALLS ALL ALONG IT, IT LOOKED LIKE A NECKLACE THAT I WAS COUGHING UP, I HAD TO PULL IT OUT TO STOP CHOKING, NOTHING LIKE USUAL PLHEMN, THE DOCTOR SAID I WAS ASHMATIC & GAVE ME AN INHALER. 20 YRS LATER I DON'T COUGH, MY SKIN IS STILL BAD BUT NOT LIKE IT WAS. I WAS EATING A SANDWICH ONE NIGHT & SUDDENLY FELT MY THROAT GO, RUSHED TO MIRROR & I HAD A LUMP THE SIZE OF A HENS EGG IN NECK, WENT TO PHARMACY & HE TOLD ME TO GO TO A&E, THEY SAID IT WAS A CALCULAS LUMP IN SALIVA GLAND & WOULD HAVE TO HAVE IT CUT OUT, LATER I HAD A BIG ULCER INSIDE MOUTH(SALIVERY GLAND) I SCRATCHED THE SURFACE & HAD A LOAD OF RED & BLUE FIBRES ON MY NAIL, FOR ABOUT A WEEK I KEPT FINDING FIBRES IN MOUTH & ACROSS TEETH. I ALSO HAD A LARGE LUMP IN BREAST, HAS MAMMOGRAM & TOLD IT WAS A CALCULAS LUMP & DID'NT NEED TREATMENT, THERE IS NO LUMP NOW. I THINK THAT WHAT THEY THOUGHT WERE CALCULUS WERE CYSTS OF WORM FIBRES, I ALSO USED TO KEEP CHOKING LIKE YOU, SO YOUR THEORY IS PROBERBLY CORRECT. SPOTS.... ![]() |

| Hi Meagan, there's been some discussion here about this in the past, that the lungs and colon are hosting parasites in our illness. Harvey was finding that. Even in TCM there is a known connection between the lungs and colon (where they are considered paired organs). BTW I believe that the kidneys/bladder are also important areas to treat with this issue. Just recently I am seeing less and less debris in my urine which I believe is a good sign. Also as we are winding down with summer, lung symptoms will become more prevalent in some of us (lungs are the dominant organ function as we go into fall. Anyway here's what Niels Mayer posted on his site about what Dr. Harvey was seeing: It all boils down to this: mutant worms. Harvey hypothesizes that a type of nematode, a wormlike parasite that lives in the soil as well as in the guts or lungs of about half the animals on the planet, mutated somewhere in the 1970s in Southeast Asia and jumped from animals to humans. The parasite is easily spread through the fecal-oral route if someone, for example, is out working in the garden, fails to wash his or her hands thoroughly and then eats an orange. Or it gets into the lungs by inhaling sputum or by kissing. The worm then takes up residence in the colon, Harvey theorizes, and the body's immune system holds it in check. But when the immune system falters, the worms swarm in the body. That's what happens, Harvey hypothesizes, after a human is infected with a strain of bacteria first reported in 1986, Chlamydophila pneumonia. These bacteria like to live in immune cells, Harvey says, and they feast on those cells' energy. With the host's immune system compromised, the mutant nematodes begin reproducing exponentially, Harvey suspects. They burrow a hole in the wall of the colon, then usually travel at night through the bloodstream or the lymphatic system or crawl in hordes between the layers of the skin, like other species of nematodes are known to do, to the parts of the body with the most blood flow: the face, head and nose. There, a cranial nerve leads right into the brain. A pileup of worms could jam blood and oxygen flow to the brain, Harvey says. "That may explain the psychological symptoms," including the hallucinations, he says.

| So how about the oxygen as treatment for the lungs? Is it possible that when I was on oxygen, the organisms didn't like it so they exited for awhile? Do NP doctors do oxygen therapy? Do they still have oxygen bars and if so, is it safe and clean to go to one? How about getting a prescription? I would like to try it because it was really, really nice to feel normal for a few days. |

| Yes, oxygen does help kill off disease organisms and has been used by some doctors to treat long term lyme, especially when it is used in conjunction with other therapies such as antibiotics and supplements. Everything working together to achieve good results. Hyperbaric oxygen treatment is found in some alternative doctors' offices. I do not know if it is legal to use oxygen therapies outside of Western medicine doctors' offices or hospitals. You could always do a google search to find out what is available to you where you live.

| What exactly did you use, Janice. I got a lot better with Vermox and then it stopped working. I then used Paragone and now it seems to have stopped. The fungus keeps the parasites coming. They seem to be attracted to me like the article posted on another thread. Haven't used anything in over 25 years that was not prescribed I also had positive results for esophageal lesions with upper GI testing. Quote:

| I used the vaxa parasite kit. I was supposed to use it for 3 months, but it was very hard on my body, and stopped at 6 weeks. My breathing improved within the first week or so and has remained good. I do smoke, so that is pretty amazing. Of course I used the colon cleanse and the probiotic at the same time. Once again, it is hard on the body though, and depression set in for a time as well, but all and all it helped me. |

| Hi Meagan, I don't know if this stuff starts in the lungs, but it sure affects the lungs in a mighty way. When I was in hospital for heart attack and surgery and then again for kidney surgery. I was on oxygen all the time and now that you mention it, I didn't have "bronchitis" in the hospital. Critters must have gone elsewhere, huh? I take a variety of lung supplements that help some. People with COPD are given oxygen prescription. One must have a low COPD score. Usually one has a breating test to determine the COPD score. There are oxy drops that can be put in one's water to supply a little oxygen and food grade hydrogen perioxide supplies oxygen. Start with 1 drop per day. Google. Dr. David Williams. I have heard of oxygen bars, but never used one. Ozonated water can provide some oxygen. I ozonate my spring water, seems to help. The doctors tell me I have chronic bronchitis. I think it is critters in the lungs. There is a supplement called Mucous Relief that helps some people. Where did this crap come from? I don't know. I just want to know how to get rid ot IT forever.
