We watched that show last week. I had read a book about Plumb Island and I do believe that is where Lyme Disease started. In terms of conspiracy, yes, I do think there is a conspiracy. The government does not want to take responsibility for all those who have suffered and are sick from this. They were very irresponsible with the way the lab was maintained. Hurricane blew through at one point too and buildings were falling apart, security for viruses and poisons were not handled properly. Animals were tested upon and accidentally released into the environment. Birds picked up the ticks and those birds flew all over spreading ticks to other animals. The author of the book carefully documents day by day what happened. It is completely believable. As little as we would like to believe the government is looking out for us, I am sorry to say it is not true. Self-interest rules in politics.

What I did not know that I learned from the show was how many germ labs are already set up in the US. If the government has their way Plumb Island will be moved to the middle of the US in cattle country. What are they thinking?
