| Could someone explain to me what nanotechnology *is* and how it could be related to Morgellons? The thing is, if it is nanotechnology, whoever is trying to hide it is totally screwed because Morgellons is spreading. I don't think Morgellons is "contagious" in the sense of a disease, I think it is transmitted from person to person somehow. And as more and more people get it, the world will start demanding answers. I firmly believe we will know what the hell is going on within ten years. Think of us as "early adopters," if you will. Pretty soon it's going to be a much larger problem. The good news is, we'll be able to figure out how to deal with it once we pull off the mask. |

MUCH larger condoms. With sleeves for arms and legs so you can still walk around..or drive..or whatever. ..air is contaminated..so will need SCUBA type air tanks. Really gnarly water filters. and stop eating. that will help a lot. .. |

Back to my original question. Can someone help explain nanotech to me? Sarcastic replies are not particularly helpful. |

| sarcasm? hardly. the environment is utterly contaminated. water/air/food ...human genome..being MUNGed.* If you can build a better mousetrap than a full body condom.. the market is wide open. Just stay away from any further "genetic mods" to "help adapt to the changed environment". Hoomans are not smart enough to know what the consequences will be in 5 years. Or 26 minutes, for that matter. and of course it's man made. There is no other reasonable explanation for the human genome to go hog wild like this...without outside "help" from the over educated hairless apes and their gene splattering toys. [after millions of years of quiet dna self tweaks to adapt to the environment..the human genetic code was fairly rugged..now, it's ****e. ...special thanks to Monsanto, Bayer and other "special" people out there. [asshats!] ...giving hoomans gene mod technology is like giving chimps a crate of hand grenades. something bad is going to happen. and..did. .* MUNG.."mashed until no good" . |

| I LOVE this: "...giving hoomans gene mod technology is like giving chimps a crate of hand grenades. something bad is going to happen. and..did." Banana - Nanotechnology cannot be described simply here. It is HUGE business, with seemingly endless applications. Start here: Amid Nanotechnology's Dazzling Promise, Health Fears Grow - AOL News And here: Nanotech Runs Amok | Healing Grapevine This morning I read an article about a psychologist who died recently and had his head frozen, believing that nanotechnology (which he'd been following for 20 years) will be capable of bringing him back to life. Psychologist believed the future can still be his after death - The Denver Post Given its longer than generally known history, how many companies and scientists are playing around with it, and its yet unknown potential, it is a good bet that it may be the culprit. The military has been exploring it and experimenting with it for over 30 years....see today's post & the thread it's in about germ war testing.... SS |

| Banana there is a reason nobody has replied to your thread with a "to the point" answer to your question, it's because the whole nanotechnology angle on morgellons is total BS. No one can give you specifics because there are none, all you'll get is "read this article, read that article" and none of what they're telling you to read says anything about an organism that can produce fibers or anything that would suggest a link to morgellons, because there is no link, period. |

Steve, IF you watch CSPAN, there have been meetings discussing how to safely carry-out nanotechnology research. People ARE concerned about human health and nano technology and have attended hearings in DC. WHY? Because it's being done RIGHT NOW. It is already in products and now I can see the governemen back-stepping. As with GMO FOODS, -- Nano technology has been put out there without any regard to safety and human health. ![]() |

Nanotechnology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

| Some of the confusion could be due to the Nanobacteria being presented as some sort of mysterious entity that causes all manner of disease and could be sourced from Mars (as in meteorites). The Mars source has been dis-proven. What Nanobacteria really are: Robert Folk, the 'Father of Nanobacteria', found the nanobacteria in carbonate rocks. Nanobes and Nanobacteria Fair use Excerpt: Nanobacteria are the smallest cell-walled organisms on Earth, the existence of which is the center of great controversy. A nanobacterium is by definition one billionth of a meter in diameter (1/10 the size of bacteria), leaving some to question whether or not an organism of this size has enough room to house necessary cell components such as DNA, RNA, and plasmids. end excerpt Nanobacteria – Are They Alive? Fair use Excerpt: That’s just one piece of evidence against living nanobacteria named in a recent study by Jan Martel of Chang Gung University in Taiwan and John Ding-E Young from The Rockefeller University in New York, which was published in PNAS. Martel and Young have studied healthy human blood serum that contains what they call “nanobacteria-like particles” (NLP), composed of the compound calcium carbonate (CaCO3), or limestone. The researchers performed a series of experiments showing that the tiny particles contain no traces of DNA or RNA, and suggest that their formation can be explained by non-biological means. “We believe that this study provides substantive proof that nanobacteria are not living entities,” Young told PhysOrg.com. “Some previous studies have hinted that this is the case, but have not provided a chemical composition or formulation that could explain the nanobacteria phenomenon in its entirety.” end excerpt Basically, what they are calling Nanobacteria has been found in rock - limestone and is present everywhere in the world and has been so since time began. What it is- calcium carbonate aka Calcite aka nanobacteria Where it was found: Calcite was found at Suny in the Morgellons specimens: Thanks to Mark Darrah and Dr Citovsky Morgellons Research at Suny Fair use Excerpt: Image 1: White Fiber – Calcite covered End excerpt I would be willing to bet that the sponge theory would fit in there nicely.... OTH, Nano technology: Nanotechnology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia is the study of the controlling of matter on an atomic and molecular scale. Same but different..... ![]()

Yes it sure does Venetia, calcium carbonate in the crystal forms of calcite or aragonite are among the more common secretions from sponges, they also secrete magnesium calcite, silica, and collagen. Thanks |
