| Hi Janice, I agree with you that part of what some are seeing could be the result of waste products from parasites and not just thrips either. Especially if the parasites are in the skin this would a possibility. There is just so little that is known about all the possible parasites which could be involved in Morgellons. My black spots did seem mobile, but again what kind of parasite it could have been I do not know. At the time, I would not have ventured into a doctor's office to ask as early on there was not much hope of any meaningful help. tcm

Ok, just finished drilling the holes in all suspect areas of my house. The area behind the bath, of course, I went through a closet to reach it. I figure this is a fight for my life. I drilled alot of holes in other places in my house as well. I baught a powder dispenser at a local bug place. I don't think they have them at lows or home depot. So first I went with Pyrethrin dust (DRIONE) by Bayer. Then folowed with Deltamethrin (DELTADUST) by Bayer. I figure my house is infested with thrips and springtails. So I was kicking butt and taking names. If you read the artical on spring tails you know they lay their eggs inside the lesions that they caused on your body. Out side I did the pyrethrin granuals and I am about to follow with Seven hose attachement spray on the out side walls of my house above the granuals. Since both thrips and springtails are attracted to moisture, this would suggest a mold problem. Hence, I used and still using as we speak Thieves oil in a nebuliser that realy kills mold. So I am attacting two fronts at the same time. I always tr;y to stay as natural as possible, but enough is enough with this crapp!!!! Thanks, Janice

So I think ...you get rid of these bugs out of your inviroment, then on to getting the eggs out of your body, hopefuly for the last time. Does any one have a suggestion for some thing that physicaly draws these thing out while taking a bath? Janice

Janice.. I had problems with springtails... there was nothing in my house attracting them except me... They bit me and my husband and pet felt nothing. They are attracted to any fungal growth that you may have on the skin... Be careful with the pesticides.. they can make you sicker. Even if you clear your home once.. you can pick them up again on the outside and bring them in. I used an ozone generator to clear my home of the fungal spores that were coming off my body... I focused mostly on myself in terms of treatments.. the barley treatment outlined on this forum helped me the most. I used it many times until all the stinging and biting and crawling stopped. I also took lots of baths (epsom salts, salt, vinegar, enzymes, borax, ESP bath soak, etc). Eventually, the bugs left as there was no more food source for them. I love the ESP bath soak... it kills lots of things in the skin...including fungus and bugs.

Thank you gigi22 for your reply. I am about to step in the bath with the ESP soak that you had mentioned. I have had it for a while. I for one, believe that the problem we have is enviromental that brings on all the problems. I believe the bugs ARE the problem, not just a symtom of some other thing. When I realized that chances are they are nesting under your bath tub, I went to work. I use very natural theraputic grade essential oils via a nebuliser to keep them out of my living area, but I have come to realise that there is a NEST, the mother load, that essential oils just cant get. You just gotta get rid of the nest, hence the pesticides. Once again gigi 22 thank you! Janice
