| Hi GiGi~ Thanks for your input! Your statement: "........Whatever infections we have going on in the gut causes us malabsorption of these vitamins as well....." I'd like to learn how that happens specificially and how it's known that what is causing infection also causes malabsorption of those vitamins. I know that when I went to Bioset I was told your body could be allergic to certain vitamins and foods and that could be corrected. On the other hand, it could be that whatever is causing the intestinal 'infection' could also be the critters that steal the vitamin B's.... I realize that this is a very complicated science and I'm not trying to simplify the answers. When I see the same things repeatedly, I try to pay attention to the surrounding situation. I think it's a step in the right direction, at least for me, to find this out about biotin and the b vitamins whether it's parasitic consumption, lack of absorption for whatever reason, both or something else. Question: how are you using the word 'crisis' in terms of healing? Positive, I hope. Question: Do you think the injections which supply the B12 will have to be continued indefinitely since you can't absorb through digestive tract? Do they have any idea why your body is not absorbing the B12? Thanks again, Kritts |

| I see you haven't been tested for Candida! (thanks for taking the poll by-the-way ;-) I just did the spit test again a few days ago and here is what it looked like as it made its way to the bottom of the glass (in just a few seconds).... ![]() ![]() ![]() I made it swirl and dance as it dropped slowly toward the bottom...looked like slime mold. Hey any of you guys out there want to french kiss me? ;-) |

Regarding the "crisis".. At first, I started to stress out because I thought I was getting worse... It seems that my internal symptoms were worsening (brain fog, etc)...and I was purging more easily black specks/threads.. but my acne is clearing more and my skin is starting to look better.. so I think its a movement in the right direction. I think I was at a standstill for a few months - not getting worse but not getting better, and then we discovered the b12 deficiency. My immune system needs this! I believe the the b12 will not have to be used indefinitely. I found this info on malabsorption: Malabsorption - failure to get the goodness from food - DoctorMyhill I got a stool test done, and they found moderate amounts of some type of mold, trace amts of yeast, and moderate amts of pathogenic bacteria in my gut. This overgrowth apparently has caused some damage to my intestinal tract lining.. and this is contributing to food intolerances (leaky gut?). Within an hour of eating an offensive food, my skin will break out in rashes. They also noted insufficient digestive enzymes in my test, so I'm not digesting everything properly. My doc believes that if I can reduce the infections and repair the intestinal lining (glutamine, vitamin C), many of my food allergies should go away and I'm guessing the malabsorption problems will too... I'm still learning about all of this... but if you haven't had a stool test done - get one! I heard Great Plains Laboratories offers a good one, and they will even tell you what treatments should work for the pathogens they find (they even give you info on natural herbs as well as pharmaceuticals from what I hear): Comprehensive Stool Analysis |

| Gigi~ I have had stool tests done as well as urine and blood and I have an overload of Candida. I am curious why they didn't identify the mold or yeast in your stool... Since my last post I have been researching more. I don't want to keep directing people to all the posts I have made about how pathogenic Candida really is, so I won't. One thing I just found out is that the gut flora actually manufactures biotin. My thinking is that if candida crowds out the good flora, it also is interfering with production of biotin. Also, many people are mentioning the neck. Google candida and the neck and see what comes up. I'm going to quit this for now because I'm going to research and see what I can find but I will leave you and everyone with this good site I just found: TOWARDS RADIANT HEALTH I'm glad you are feeling better and funny....'health crisis' is mentioned in this article more than once! | Kritts, I just took your pole & it came back saying I had already responded? Well yeah, I tested + for aspergilis, heavy metals and heavy metal music (Yeah wo). I'm going to ask my dr to test me for candida next time I see him, but I'm not sure when that will be. I'm seeing my lymphatic massage.reiki therapist on Friday, I'll ask her too. Meanwhile, I'll drink my Helios kefir and take a few drops of Miracle II neutralizer each day. I also use "Colosan" for colon hygiene. HEALTH Springs Keep on goin on Kritts, you might be right with the link to candida. In the white light, ~jonsi

| I believe it's most important to 'clean out' the intestinal tract first, remove heavy metals, chelate, and then build up the 'good' bacteria with probiotics in order to absorb nutrients and vitamins properly. I think that's a main problem with all of us and makes us susceptible to all kinds of pathogens such as Candida...etc. The intestinal tract is the MAIN immune system! Kat |

| Krits, that close up of your lugies (sp?) will surely get you some date offers! You are awesome for your relentless research efforts for us - Go Girl! Can I re-vote to reiterate my love of heavy metal music? That made me giggle before and it made me giggle again just now - Thank you! I'm not sure how to spell lugeez (?). Loogies? Wonder if that's in Webster's or wiki... |

If you read through all I have posted so far, you would see why I believe Candida albicans to be more than an opportunistic yeast turned pathogenic. If Cancer is Candida albicans (which I absolutely believe it is , and not just because of reading Dr Simoncini's book but that sealed it) then it could be implicated as at least a possible part of the Morgellons DNA or some sort of transport. It is known to change shape and morph into a different organism at will. LIKE THE SPONGE. Kritters |
